Every investors want profit. If any particular con gives them profit they become loyal with that particular coin. In this situation this coins demand automatically increase. For this reason this project also making portfolio.
My opinion on a safe portfolio:
-Some high caps(safest)
-Some mids caps(reasonably safe)
-Some low caps(higher reward)
My portfolio: ALL LOW CAPS!

My advice on investing personal funds is not advised, work as advertising bounty in the portfolio should certainly be ETH. EOS. TRX - long. on the other violas selectively and to your taste

It's better to have the top 5 currencies.
EOS, TRX, ETH, NEM, NEO, etc will be some of the longest living infrastructure coins that you can include.
But it would be wise to diversify by technology as well as locality of the token concentration and team.
