Very good explanation with screenshot but I will recommend everyone to use Safepal Instead of trustwallet because there most of the token automatically show and contract address is available in wallet also
No need for Coinmarketcap and this lengthy process.

To add tokens on Trust wallet, Metamask, Tokenpocket etc all wallets the first thing you need to find the contract address. This guide is effective for tokens listed on CoinMarketCap or Coingecko. But how do you get the contract address of the tokens that are not listed in CMC?

Hey Trust Wallet fam, we just wanted to give you a quick update on the Trust Wallet iOS app store issue.

First off, please be assured that your funds are safe. The current situation has nothing to do with Trust Wallet or your funds. We're still working with Apple to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If you have the Trust Wallet app on your phone already there is no problem. It only impacts those users who need to reinstall or download the app on an Apple device. As before, Android users are unaffected.

Stay tuned for further updates. Thank you for your continued patience.

- Trust Wallet team 💙

although this method has been explained a lot by other members in this forum, but this is a good start to make quality posts and become part of the forum as a passionate member.
The method you describe will also save you from fake smart contracts, and the main reference for the original smart contract that will be added to your wallet or other wallet is the smart contract listed on the coin information on coinmarketcap.
Good work and continue to improve the quality of the posts you make, I'm sure you can create other threads that are unique and different and of course full of information.

I gave you 4 Merits because of your effort, but the way the topic is presented will make it less useful.
You can learn how to do this here:

 - Guideline on posting images (with size adjustments), hyperlinks
 - Limit on image file size when posting
 - [Tutorial] How to add image, resize image and make image clickable

In general, if coin/token is new, I advise you to stay away from it because it will be a high-risk investment.

Thank you very much for your advice, I would like your advice to go a long way, i hope you will help in this way in the future.

Well it was really somekind of hard working by editting photo and publish a post according to it's serial. I think if you resize your  screenshot it will better . Your screenshot made your posts too big it's taking time to be load .
Matic token could be found easily on trust wallet by searching its contract address or name , if you tried with new token it would be more convinient.

Thank you, i would like your advice to go a long way, i hope you will help in the future as well.

The guide lacks the proper use of of image resizing as some are too big and others are okay but length is a bit too long. Why don't you put a take note that it's not just TrustWallet that let you add custom token. There are other wallet provider that let you add custom token like metamask as mentioned in previous post. Just add this one, Make sure you choose the correct network. Example, the site you are trying to connect wallet use Polygon matic so better choose Polygon instead of ethereum or else your balance won't show.

OP, I see that your instruction is well rephrased. However, the source from where you got this instruction is needed. I won't report to the moderators, since you did everything yourself. But the search shows your copied phrases, and this threatens with a permanent ban.
Add a link to the source.

Firstly I will advise you to resize your image, as the sizes are kind of too big, I believe the format which cookdata have given you will be very useful.
Seriously your post is really educative and I believe it will really help lots of newbies that are just starting cryptocurrency, but you should have quote the post and added your source link since the write up is not from you.
From the look of your post I believe all those image's are gotten by you, but the write up is not yours, since you know the post is not really yours, why don't you just quote the post and then add source Link, Nobody will penalize you if there is source link but now your account might be ban because if lovesmayfamilis did not report you, definitely I believe another person will report you which I believe your account will be ban.

Thanks for your solutions

Resize the images to reduce the size, they are too large. Use the example I posted above earlier.

Not just Trust wallet, there are other wallets that do the same job such as Metamask, Imtoken, TokenPockets, and others that support adding tokens to your wallets by including the contract's address.
When you use the search box, you will see a list of tokens by default, but if it isn't there, you'll need to use a customized method of entering the correct contract address. If you use a Metamask wallet, Coinmarketcap has an enabled option where you can simply add tokens to your wallet by clicking on the Metamask logo, and the token will be added to that chain.

Your images are too large and will take time to load the page, can you reduce them a little bit. You can use the one below as an example.

Thanks for your feedback, most of the new users are familiar with and using Trust Wallet, I have thought about that aspect.

OP, I suggest editing the title of this topic because it's a bit vague. Something like "[GUIDE] How to add a custom token to the Trust Wallet" would probably be more appropriate.

Already fixed, thanks for your valuable feedback, hope to share future forum experiences like this.

Blockchains like Ethereum, BSC, Tron, etc. may have tokens other than the main crypto like Ethereum, BNB, Tron which for various reasons will not always show inside your wallet app. By default, Trust Wallet has 4 tokens. "Etherium", "BNB", and "Smart Chain".You can add other tokens by tapping the filter icon in the trust wallet. After you tap the filter icon, you'll see a list of tokens that you can add to the Trust Wallet. However, if the token is new, you won't find it in the list. So, you have to manually add the token by pasting its address. You have to add a custom token / crypto / coin to the trust wallet so that you can see its balance. To add a custom token to the Trust Wallet, you need to go to CoinMarketCap The token address needs to be copied. Go to CoinMarketCap and tap on the search icon

For example, if I want to add a "Matic" token to a trust wallet, I will search for the token's name in the box above. It will look like the image below.

Follow the photo instructions. Copy the contracts address. Now open the trust wallet and tap on the filter icon

Paste the token's address and activate it

If the token does not show up, you need to tap "Add custom token"

Then, enter the network, contract address, name, symbol, decimal, and tap "Save"

Hopefully newcomers won't have a problem adding tokens
