Hello crypto experts!
As many of you advised me I have already decided to buy a copper membership to announce my company's new blockchain technology. But I have read some thoughts that say ranking is an important factor to make the announcement successfully. My question would be "how important is the ranking?" Could I fail to do it even if my technology itself and the thread of announcement is really outstanding due to my ranking?
thank you for your comments!

You need to have a full plan in place and it really depends upon your budget. Obviously if you have a good project , you not only will be needing an ANN thread but will also focus on bounties etc.

Ranking up, increases the credibility to some extent, but why would you rank here in the forum ? You main target is your own site, project and you are here only to promote it. You will not postponed your project unless you become a full member  Smiley
Copper membership is just the right rank for the project owners like you.

Again as i said if you have budget and you want to do it in the best possible way then you may hire an creditable bounty manager to publish your ANN. This will give your project a big boost. Then afterwards the same manager can run the bounty campaigns for you and so on.
thank you for your advice! Yes our team is working on our bounty campaigns as well. Soon both ANN and bounties will be posted.

as they say, for a project/ new technology, ranking is not so important. the consideration of investors or members of this forum about the new projects is the team, concepts, partnership, and honesty. however, when you have a good crypto project/technology to develop or share on, you can promote it at this time the Announcement thread

but if you have a bounty for the technology support you develop, it will have a different storyline. it requires trusted people in this forum to handle the bounty that you will make to be more trusted and controlled.

If you have a good project, tech and team, don't think about the rank to make an announcement. But if you have a higher rank is a bonus. But higher rank is not the only thing to decide about the project announcement. Because higher rank members posted projects can be scammed. Then make your announcement well on here.

I agree with Velkro and Coolcryptovator, but I think it's not only the rank of the announcer that matters, but also his notoriety.

Just go buy the copper membership and make your announcement, ranking up are mostly important for users participating fully on the forum through discussion. If you intend your account to just be a representative account of your project then you shouldn't be too concern about the ranking up process of the forum instead be concerned about the affairs and reputation of your project because you take the credit (green trust) or blame (flag/red trust) for the reputation of your project.

Concentrate on delivery the best support for your project on the forum and the merits will come your way if your replies are concerned merit worthy, you should already get the activity from your posts and with this two requirements, you can rank up.

Rank has a moderate significance in relation to promoting your IEO. As @pooya87 mentioned, some newer accounts may be more impressed by the rank itself, but the real credibility comes from the project outline, uniqueness, roadmap and deliveries (better if there is an already testable running skeleton).

In terms of promotion, your tools here are creating an Ann thread, associating a possible Bounty campaign, and placing in-forum Adds.

Nevertheless, all those are measly gains if the project points to being a scam of some sort. People are pretty quick to catch on to many of them, and activate the pertinent alerts on the account and threads if that is the case.

High rank account isn't mandatory to make a announcement thread. You might simply post with your current account, or you should buy copper membership if you like to design your thread very well. But high rank account would help you to push up your business. Because when a reputed high rank member will announce your project then it would draw attention from investors or other users. Because a high rank reputed user will do their own  diligence before make ANN thread. And that's the reason why most of potential projects hiring well reputed manager. You might hire some well reputed high rank managers, so he would announce your project on behalf of you.

Many project posted by high rank members turns as scam so I wouldn't mind for the OP rankings since the matter the most is the content and the transparency of the owner, So make sure to present a good information and hopefully your called company will not  scam people in future.

The poster's rank does matter a bit, but isn't everything. It still completely depends on what "new blockchain technology" you're going to announce, because chances are, this is yet another attempt to use blockchain technology even if it's completely unnecessary and that a typical database would suffice. But then, even if you use a newbie account, and if the "announcement" is good and actually makes sense, then it could gain traction. But then again, I doubt it.

I'm skeptical on this since for me original poster doesn't really matter  since I am more in the owners visibility and transparency.

maybe some newbies who don't know any better take a look at the announcer's rank on this forum but generally it doesn't matter at all. "what" you announce matter, as in the product you are offering or services,... for example when you say "my company's new blockchain technology" if it is yet another useless ICO or another copycat coin then it doesn't matter if your rank is the lowest or the highest, it will be ignored.

but according to your post history you seem to be  wanting to run a useless IEO to make money out of thin air, in which case as i said don't bother... it will fail whether you announce it with a newbie account or a legendary one.

Well it adds credibility to the project if author is known in the community. Its natural process.
Copper membership won't help here but won't harm either. If you don't want money/crypto from people, it shouldn't be a problem to announce on new account also. Im afraid this is the case tho, directly or indirectly.
If you have bad intentions be ready to serious bashing of project.
In hope you don't,
Yours Velkro
