Lately I have been heavily involved in gambling and am worrying because of the time i spend playing gambling I always have the urge to gamble excessively which I think am getting addicted to gambling.

Anyone with a gambling addiction withdrawal method to help me out.
If you do find out that you are spending too much time in gambling then try to divert on other things which would really make use of your time instead and be mindful about putting that time to be essential or something productive or simply means that you do need to focus on other things and i agree on what others been saying that this is something easy to say than to be done when you are already shackled with gambling addiction.
This is something which can be resolved directly or just in a day.

Always gradually distract yourself in other things for you to avoid on playing gambling and try to resist no matter what. This might not be easy but if you do able to do so then you would surely
solve out your problem.

I've been there and honestly felt like I wouldn't be able to come out of the mire that is gambling addiction because the relapses hit very hard. But what kept me going is basically self-control and incentives. You could set a weekly plan on how much you are only allowed to play or gamble, and when you achieve such goal treat yourself to something that isn't related to gambling at all. Like buying a much needed appliance or going out with a friend to reconnect, you need distraction and a goal.
Avoid? Don't play gambling as simple as that but the question is, on how you would able to resist temptation or urge for you to play? This is something depending on someones control.

If you do find yourself to be that impulsive then better quit gambling for good and don't make things even more worst because if you do let things to go further then you would

already have the idea on where you would be ending up which is simply to mess up yourself in terms of finances or even your relation into your loved ones.
Avoiding something that had become your lifestyle even if only for a short amount of time is easier said than done. You'd come to find out that some addicts without proper control and supervision come back from their ways not long after, and that is because there is a lack of inner and outside support, which could also be applied to gambling addiction.

It’s good that you witness this possible addiction on the early stage, now you just have to make a plan and commit with that. Have a budget every time you gamble, have a limit and know where to stop so you wont spend that much.

Gambling is very addicting if you don’t know how to control your emotion, gamble accordingly based on what you can afford to lose, also never chase your loses.

it's great that you noticed it and acknowledge it. that's a great start.  your first step should be for you to request self-exclusion(if they are offering it) to all the gambling sites that you are playing on. now, the members gave good advice. I know it won't be easy to follow it but if you think you can't do them by yourself, it will be for the best to seek professional help.

There is no known scientific solution to an addiction, the only possible way is self discipline as long as you have the will to change your gambling habit you can find other activities that you find interest in and invest your time into it. Always try to distract yourself from every casino environment and take a long break from gambling let us say stay away for a month or two you will discover a big change, and also try to change your environment because our circle have big influenced on our decision.

gambling addiction is just like any other addiction that occurs and to overcome this addiction of course it is very important for us to know the real reason why we gamble, so that it will be easier for us to get rid of the addiction, and if we already know the reason, we should give know this about the addiction problems that we experience with friends or family members we can trust, so that we will get a strong encouragement from them to help us get rid of the addiction, besides that spending time with family will certainly make us forget our desires gambling and gradually the desire will weaken so that it will make us forget gambling.

It sounds stupid but you need to cut it out entirely. I'm lucky in my country that most bookmakers and gambling operators have a built in self exclusion tool, that will block you from their services once you submit it for a predefined period of time. Not being able to gamble, even if you want to do it, is perhaps the easiest way possible to break the habit. If you can go a week or two in a different location that might help too, sometimes getting stuck in the same cycle can be a big contributor - so book a holiday somewhere far away or see if you can stay with family for 7 days. That might help to open your eyes to all the other possibilities and help you to redefine how you spend your time. Look for a free alternative, download a game like "World of Tanks" or something you might be interested in (stay away from any in game transactions, keep it free even if there are paid add-ons). and spend your time on that instead - you'll be saving money every hour if you're not gambling it away instead.

•Distract yourself with other activities
•Give your money into your wife and wont let you able to handle
•Mind off first about priorities and needs
•Keep yourself away on things in related with gambling
•Resist while you can

Gambling addiction is something that is really hard to deal with but if you are really that serious or eager on controlling yourself then it could really be done.
It is just depending on personal own will and discipline if you are really serious on trying to avoid it.

Spend lesser or limited time with your computer/device on gambling websites and be more active irl activities, more time with your families can help imo.

The more time you stay on your computer screens the more you get distracted to gamble and spend money, and you should avoid that. Practice self discipline.

I tell you one truth now for sure and it's sure to work should you be able to convince yourself using previous experience and appropriate your funds properly. The thing is, your going to need a lot of discipline but then, the tactics to avoiding gambling addiction is that, 'each time you ever think of gambling or feel the need to go to a casino Hall or the online platforms, always find a way to convince yourself that uour going to loose'. Look at the money or funds your about using for Staking as an expendable should you go ahead to play and that, would put you in your thoughts if that fund is really expendable. No one likes to loose for sure so, you ought to find a way tobconvince yourself.

Another thing that might aid you is, should you be able to appropriate your funds and be disciplined enough to keep to the course you've taken. You need a lot of discipline to make this happen and as such, do yourself a favour and get one.
