Being a mod is a ton of work. But regardless I think you get randomly chosen if you've contributed to the community in some way shape or form, doesn't really have to be money though. I don't think there's an application system to become a mod and that type of stuff

Dude, trust me,no ones passionate about reading shit tons of broken English posts and dealing with bots on daily basis.

Agreed. Like this meaningless shitpost post above from tapakiak?

I know that it's less about who knows about the mod please let me know,
because I just newbie

A quick look at tapakiak post history, and wow, it appears he can speak perfect English - sometime. See this post today in "dev and tech"

After you install the Bitcoin wallet on your computer or mobile phone, it will automatically create your first Bitcoin address and you can make more addresses again whenever you need. You can give your Bitcoin address to your friends so they can pay you or vice versa. Very similar to how email works, except that Bitcoin addresses can only be used once.

The usual reason for this on/off writing ability? Copy paste of course,

As soon as you install a bitcoin wallet on your computer or mobile phone, it will generate your first bitcoin address; in the future you will be able to create as many addresses as you want. You can communicate your addresses to your friends who will be able to make payments to you or vice versa. In reality, it's very much like e-mail, except that a bitcoin address must only be used once.

I wouldn't put effort into becoming a mod because then it would be manufactured and possibly annoying.  If you're an active and mature member of the forum maybe mods will approach you but I wouldn't think about it too much as there's nothing to say on the topic except the obvious.

I guess you just blew your chance to be a mod because of this thread you posted. If you try to check those who are active in spam busting and scam busting and playing escrows, they are more likely a target of dramas in this forum and someone will try to dig your posts and look for something to put you down. It's just my observation though but everyone have a shot at that position, it's just that I haven't encountered anyone posting like this and wish granted. Just like being a President of a country, it's not planned, it's destiny.

Why do you want to be a mod? Staff are added on demand and if theymos thinks you would be beneficial to the community. Be a very active member and report a lot of posts with a fairly decent accuracy and he may ask you at some point.
I don't want to be a mod right now but may be in future because I find it challenging to manage such a large forum. To me it commands both respect and power  Grin. That said I posted this thread for information sake and not to promote myself as a possible candidate as I obviously don't deserve to be a mod right now.

Keep in mind, a fair portion of the members here don't like moderators, as the community in general tends to be pretty rebellious towards any authority figure that has the power to "censor" you. Most people don't really understand how hands off we are, but I can't really blame them for not being able to see from the inside out.

Report posts/threads that are against the rules to help demonstrate that you understand the rules. Be a productive member on Bitcointalk, obviously don't break the rules, be helpful, and show at least neutral character. As far as I know, there aren't any rules about not being a jerk and being a moderator, but it probably doesn't hurt to not have everyone dislike you.

If you are an active member of a local board that speaks another language, if the majority of the members there say they need a moderator, they essentially pick among themselves who they want to do the job.

Yeah but OP, don't report 700 farmed accounts (all intent on scamming here) with 100% accuracy, as i have done.
You will be hated on by mods and ignored by theymos.

Don't know if it is proper to ask this but I wanna know what are the criteria and requirements for a member to be a moderator on this forum? Is it seniority, knowledge, contribution to forum or what?Is there a fixed number of staff members at any given point?
