So in this day and age of so many online threats; malwares, ransomware, wallet stealing software, phishing, etc.

Is there a way to run something in an isolated environment where it cannot infect your actual pc or steal from hotwallet?

I saw something on virtual pc, vmware, sandboxie, and comodo sandbox, are they all the same?

If you are " Windowsed" Use good antimonitoring / antikeylogger solution like SpyShelter

What does "windowsed" mean? thanks

Mean using Windows. Just little sarcastic way to express using Win OSes.

Brave New World
You can use either Oracle VM Virtualbox and install another OS inside the VM, or use a sandbox such as Sandboxie.

Both of these are good options and both are free (although there are some limitations).

Set your browser to medium security. I downloaded avast for free and it's pretty good. Never open a file or document without scanning it for viruses first.
