I have old gridseed and lost the old rasp. Now i buy new rasp pi 3, do you have ready to use iso to set it up?

no  I only have  avalon software.  I made  2 spare rasp pi 3's  and I cloned 4 spare cards.

I was hoping others would post other mining software images to use for other miners.

Having only mined GPU, am I correct in understanding you can use a generic Rasp Pi like this and pre-load software to control, say an Avalon 741 in order to save some cash?

Are you planning on expanding to include the software preload for various miners ?

I have an Rpi 2 sitting in a box somewhere not to mention the cash I had planned for Vega cards....are the Avalon's readily available?

avalons will be in stock in 3 days order today  they will bill in a few days and ship on the 23rd.

Thanks for the great guide Phil. I'm sure it was a hell of a lot cheaper than the 100$ they want for there controller. Toss in a pair of good ol anker usb cables and a one of there 2 port USB bricks to power the thing and your off an running.

yeah  I suggest  buying an avalon rasp pi and build a spare one.  if you have multiple avalon 741's

also the rasp pi  has  other mining setups.

I suggest the larger  micro sd card the 16gb.

and if you are running a ton of rasp pi's  here is a great power source.  for up to 5 rasp pi's

with 5 good cables  will run and run and run

if you are running 2 rasp pi's  this is good

Yep, Avalon also uses a RPI for controllers but they do provide a nice simple guide on how to setup a RPI for mining yourself. Avalons are pretty much always available and they ship pretty quickly, quality is also much better than from Bitmain. Only difference is less hashrate and slightly worse efficiency.

first step  was pull original 8gb card and stick it in the new rasp pi then check to be sure new rasp pi was working!
