Not to make you feel bad or something, but if you're going to create a guide/tutorial, probably create one on a topic that hasn't been written before. Or if you're going to create a tutorial on a topic that has like a bajillion articles already, at least attempt to beat those existing articles in terms of quality and information. This one seems to be just written in under 10 minutes.

I hope this helps someone
Sorry to say but it really won't.
I don't think that's the best way to encourage a newbie
Thanks anyway

I am a novice like you, but I think you should not respect this forum and people who want to help you. At least you have to make it clear, you just throw a question out, and feel like a baby waiting to be fed.

Encourage your child to do it instead of doing it for him, right? Sorry if it offends you.

mk4 actually gave you a good advice which you took as offense, and here is another one: don't copy/paste/paraphrase something without proper reference to appear more knowledgeable and get couple of merits. Plagiarism=ban on bitcointalk.

How to Buy Bitcoin

You can buy bitcoin through exchanges and stockbrokers, or from other owners. Regardless of where you get it, consider the risks of investing in digital assets.

Buying bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in 4 steps

Decide where to buy bitcoin. Cryptocurrency exchanges like Coinbase and a few traditional brokers like Robinhood can get you started investing in bitcoin.

Think about how to store your cryptocurrency. Are you going to keep your bitcoin in a hot wallet or a cold wallet?

Make your purchase. Figure out how much you want to invest in bitcoin.

Manage your investment. Determine your long-term plan for this asset.

Buying bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies can be a fun and easy way to invest your finances.

It can be fun when is bought not with a loan capital or a capital that can cause a PTSD -post traumatic stress disorder- if it's lost, furthermore, in investing your finance, especially crypto-currency, I would encourage you as a -Newbie- to not feel reluctant and insensitive because of you think is a success/money bandwagon in the crypto-currency arena, many coins can leave you in serious PTSD or depression.

In between you been a -Newbie- it would be exciting and interesting, and even different if you can put into your post your experience, like have you bought Bitcoin or alt-coins how did you find the experience, exciting or difficult, what way did you find out that helped with the difficult experience, for other -Newbies-.
