changing fiat trading pairs to btc, I believe with this aim of taking double profits, such as buying CSPR/USDT, and selling with CSPR/BTC, will reduce trading costs and you can also take profits if BTC goes up, and trade it back to coins / other tokens that you want, in my opinion this has been done correctly, both reducing transaction costs and taking profits, it's just that if you exchange with BTC pairs the risk is different from FIAT which tends to be stable

if you bought the coin even with CSPR/USDT pair for example you can automatically use the other pair, but if your money is in USDT for future buying of the asset you should trade it to the corresponding pair that you want first.
Is it simply to sell the coins and then buy back as BTC pairs?

I’m worried the buying and selling fees would add up to a lot. Is there any other way to achieve this?
if you use cex though, you can simlpy be the market maker then you will be saved from a lot of fee, not necessarily free though, but at least it will ease your burden of needing to pay some humongous fees.
remember, if youre still not yet buying the coin, like your money is in USDT, the only pair you can use is the USDT pair but if you already bought it, its basically allowing you to buy from various pairs, so definitely in this case you don't need to worry you can directly use the pair that you want since it seems you already bought the coin.

Hey @OP — just like other users have already posted, you don't have to do anything right now. Your positions are still on track. Those pairs are only important when it's time to make a new order since pairs determine the two assets necessary for a trade to executed. What is more important is the asset you can attain from any of the trading pairs.

That said, you end up with the same CSPR tokenx if you:
— Buy with CSPR/USDT pairs
— Buy with CSPR/BTC pairs.

What you are holding in the portfolio are not pairs if your trade has already been executed. Let say you had some USDT and decided to trade on the CSPR/USDT pair. This mean you want to buy CSPR using the USDT you have. If your buy order is executed. You will have some CSPR in your portfolio. If you used part of your USDT to buy CSPR. It means you will have both CSPR and USDT in your portfolio. You can use the USDT to buy more CSPR or any other coin that has USDT as the base currency in the trading pair.

If you want to switch from CSPR to BTC, simply look for the CSPR/BTC trading pair and sell your CSPR for BTC.

What is the best way for me to switch the existing holdings to BTC pairs?
When you choose an order to buy or sell a specific pair at a specific price, you have placed an order to buy or sell, but no real purchase or sale has occurred, as the order has not been executed yet. You can simply cancel the order and create another order.
Altcoin/BTC pairs require more experience, as it is rare for these currencies to outperform Bitcoin in the short term.

Is it simply to sell the coins and then buy back as BTC pairs?
You don't need to do this.

If you buy CSPR in a CSPR/USDT, you dont have to sell CSPR to buy BTC just to buy CSPR/BTC..   You dont have to because you are automatically have the pair of CSPR/BTC..        ALTCOIN/BTC pairs is only profitable during bullruns.
So just incase BTC is about to pump, you can sell CSPR you bought in a CSPR/USDT from CSPR/BTC dashboard to HODL BTC.. And when CSPR is about to pump,, sell your BTC in the CSPR/BTC pair to get CSPR.
I believe this is more profitable than trading only in USDT pair... but remember theres always a risk of losing in trade.

Hi Everyone,

I have most of my portfolio paired with USDT (for example CSPR/USDT, CTSI/USDT etc) However, upon doing more research, I wish to change to BTC pairs instead.

What is the best way for me to switch the existing holdings to BTC pairs?

Is it simply to sell the coins and then buy back as BTC pairs?

I’m worried the buying and selling fees would add up to a lot. Is there any other way to achieve this?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance
