Thanks!  That's what I thought.  Only reservation was maybe that you needed multiple power inputs when hooking up crossfire multiple cards or something.

Yes plug both in, its standard to have multiple plugs. If it didnt need it it wouldnt be there.

I just got a new Sapphire R9-270x Dual-X 2GB card.  I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I decided to post a newbie question after searching Sapphire support and other places with no luck since I don't want to blow up my brand new card.  The included manual has a goofy diagram that doesn't even look like my card.  It says "You Must connect this graphics board to the computer's power supply". 
I have two 6-pin PCIe power slots.  I should plug 6-pin power connectors into both, right?  At the moment, this will be the only PCIe graphics card on the mb.
