Coinbase tells me that i have to create a new coinbase account and send in verification documents again.  First off, has anyone here done this before?

They told me its because of a known bug issue.  Anyone here have this message?  They tell me once i create new account and send in documents, they would close my old account.  My issue here is would they later say something like multiple accounts etc?

ID verification is currently degraded for some customers due to high traffic. We are working to restore service as quickly as possible. In the mean time, we suggest checking back in several hours.  For your security please do not send IDs via email. Coinbase Support is unable to review IDs. For the latest information view our status page: https://status.coinbase.com

This is the message when you click on more information.  But surely they would answer email at least?

Hi there.  I created a coinbase account a very long time ago and had a different phone.  I used that phone to use 2FA i believe with my google voice number.  Im pretty certain but not 100 percent but i logged into coinbase with google authenticator back then.  But im positive i received a code to my google voice number when i tried to verify or log in etc.  So my 2FA was either by sms to google voice or google authenticator.

No I did not write my 2FA code down from my old phone.  At the moment i only have my new phone.  It does have the same sms phone number used to received message from coinbase.  I have google authenticator on the new phone but of course nothing shows up on it when i open it.

When i sent them the submit a request form, they do ask you for your email right?  Because im not 100 percent sure if i put it or not but if there was a line that ask your coinbase email, im certain i sent that email.  So would it be better for me to send them another email on that form and do it again?  Well its been a long time since i got a response back from them.  Gemini at least responded back to me pretty quickly.  So i want to know if coinbase has issues or not with answering emails?

Have an issue with verification as i no longer have my old phone that uses the 2FA.  I have a phone number that i received an sms message though but it showed verification error.
You received a code from your phone even though you already activated a 2fa app? As far as I know, it's impossible.

If you are using an Authenticator app or Authy for your 2FA codes, you will not receive SMS to your phone. Please use the code from the app to log in.

If you have kept your 2fa recovery codes, you can just import in a 2fa app.

If so, does anyone have coinbase email?

When you submitted the "Submit a Request form", It's just the same as sending an email to them. There's a reason on why they have put the form instead of their email address in the support page.

It might be due to me not sending an email directly from the email i have on file with coinbase?

What do you mean by this? From my understanding, Did you put an email which is not associated with your Coinbase account at the "Submit a Request" Form?
If so, Kindly fill out the form again with a correct email address. And also state why you had to submit two entries because I just read that they are not fond of multiple entries as this can increase their work load

Please submit only one ticket for your issue. Creating multiple submissions for the same issue will result in an additional delay.

Figured I should add that coinbase is facing a lot of problems these past few days and they're still at it until now so expect a delayed response

I sent an email to coinbase on their website and put my email on it.  I have not received a message back.  It might be due to me not sending an email directly from the email i have on file with coinbase?  If so, does anyone have coinbase email?  And do they even respond back?

I didn't send them verification documents on their website because it read do not send it through their website.
