Virwox.com is trusted site for exchange bitcoin to paypal but the fees are really high. I have used localbitcoin.com, if you want paypal you can search different cities for better prices.  User are rated, however, their are always a risk when dealing with paypal.  Third open is to look for trusted user on bitcointalk and sell to them.  Personally I used localbitcoin.com and coinbase.com a few times and worked like a charm.

There is some exchangers which could help you to convert your bitcoins into Paypal, you can use localbitcoins for example, or just use the exchanger of the forum but make sure to use the escrow service as well

There are a lot of exchanges out there, but I will not trust anyone with the exception of VirWox and Coinbase. Even in Localbitcoins, the vendors can't be trusted. A number of buyers had their credentials stolen recently and the thieves may use these details to con you.

I'm going back and forth with some guys about a customized Wordpress plugin and they won't accept Bitcoin. We all know that's pretty foolish of them and it's inconvenient for me because Bitcoin is what I've got, but Paypal is the only option at this time. What's the best way to convert Bitcoin into Paypal so I can get this thing paid for and then make them cry with my totally cool website that everybody uses for, among other things, paying Wordpress experts in Bitcoin to create customized plugins (LOL Tongue )?
You can visit currency exchange website and then try to post there a new thread that you are willig to treade your bitcoin into paypal or just simply Pm one of the staff who can exchange your bitcoin into paypal 1:1 rate this is pretty cool anyway good luck and don'\t trust website that you search from google.

Signup for coinbase if your in a place you can, they allow you to cash out btc to paypal.

In South Africa , such a service is not available with coinbase. What he can do is to check for a reputable person on the forum to make such a transaction.

Visit the payment methods page on Coinbase.com or tap "Settings" and then "Payment Methods"

I didn't know that Coinbase provides the opportunity to exchange BTC to PayPal !!! It really looks like a safe solution! I wonder what commission they charge .. can anyone give rates of their fees or %?

Google should be able to help you out with that.
I saw this guide from coinbase https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/2458534
But upon checking and trying their service it is not available in my country to buy and sell bitcoins and use paypal for payment method and i think this is only woks in selected countries..

Best option is here in our forum. Go to the currency exchange board located here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 . Find a very trusted seller with dark green which has an ongoing thread with lots of transactions made and lots of positive feedback. I am sure they will buy your bitcoin with paypal. There are other ways but in my view this is the most problem free way to convert your bitcoin to paypal.

I emphasize again , find a very trusted seller with a big thread , lots of transactions, lots of good trust and sell only to such seller. All others consist of extreme high risk by trading with them through paypal.

It looks like it is the only safe method (still not 100%) to find trusted user (as it was mentioned - with dark green trust).

I tried few other ways, and almost always i have not nice surprises. In my first transaction i lost 0.10 BTC.

Never do any transaction quickly. Do not let be pushed to make a deal! If you have even a small doubt, back off.

so you can also try .
it you want direct deals then sell your btc to a trusted trader .
Is this really accurate with pricing or maybe the fees are really high when you are using this one? can you send or post some proof here coz i really want to trade my paypal if the fee's are cheap not like in virmox or in the exchange currency thread . Ask your friend about the proof so we can really try this one too.

Maybe try out paxful and localbitcoins, you can trade with people looking to buy bitcoins and use the site escrow. Just be very careful when accepting paypal as it is reversible, there are trusted traders on those sites so it is probably best to use them.

Trading  bitcoin to paypal  is somehow   a risky thing to do  as you mentioned   paypal could able to cashback anytime  which is  a really bad thing   on the side of the  buyer  because anytime  you would  be scammed  by someone. Its better  to find another way     because  there are  lots  of issues as of  now regarding  on these  kind of transactions.

I have thought about this too, but it is a mistake if you want to be anonymous on Bitcoin because as soon as you finish the transaction on an exchange website, you're going to automatically enter the banks' database and anyone can look upon you. So if you wish to remain anonymous, you better find the closest Bitcoin ATM and exchange your Bitcoin to cash. Then, you can deposit it in your PayPal or anywhere else you want. This lets you stay anonymous.

Regarding your question, there aren't many exchange websites offering BTC to PayPal and you should be careful about them. You can write a thread on this forum at Marketplace and other users may be interested, or look for other websites like localbitcoins that accept PayPal.

I personally go onto LocalBitcoins when I need to convert my Bitcoin into Paypal. You can usually find out a list of buyers who are trusted and online by the green dots near their username and then their trade history. It usually works fast as well. I have yet to been scammed there, but I guess as always, just be cautious whenever you're trading.

They charge a fees of as low as 2.5% and they are legal teams. You can trust them easily
And the best part is their services are Instant

Ohh... Didn't know you are from US. And yeah you are right. This is what I found :

like already suggested, your best bet is to exchange with a very trusted member on the forum and hope that they don't chargeback within 180 days. the virwox method is a pain in the ass, plus you'll be paying a crazy amount of fees. i'd also avoid localbitcoins if you're exchanging to paypal, heard too many horror stories of people being scammed.

Traditionally the most reliable route has been via Virwox but I'm not sure if it works in the opposite direction. You buy Linden dollars with Paypal and then convert to BTC. The fees are pretty hefty.

If you're in the US why not just sell to Circle or Coinbase and add to Paypal from your bank? It'll be a whole lot cheaper.

I wonder if they removed the possibility to exchange BTC to SLL? When I click on "BTC/SLL" I only see an option to buy BTC for SLL... but not the selling section. Or is this because I have no Bitcoin funds in my account currently?

Id say buy a visa prepaid cards with pp then buy coins off coinbase or one of the other that allow credit card transfers.
Prepaid and debit cards can't be used with coinbase.

Try searching at the currency exchange section. Do note that the process would be quite long as paypal can be charged back easily as using it with virtual currency is against their TOS.

Never trade with any arbitrary trader for paypal , as in maximum cases there is chance of charge back.
i will suggest you you trade via localbitcoins , open a trade there , click on quick sell , select payment mode as paypal , then click on only high trusted users.
this will ward away un-trusted people and will give you high inclination of not being scammed , but still there is probability of being scammed.

for most safer the choice is to trade with virwox , but eventually their fee is too much.

Remember btc/paypal trade are very much un-trusted.

i remember that wordpress used to accept bitcoin as payment. but they said they wanted to stop, i don't know if they did. search to see if they still accept it first.
but you can always find trusted members in the marketplace section that will do the transaction for you. just check their history and trust first.

Yep, there are many scammers in the marketplace section
For the avoidance of frauds, We can use escrow services

escrow wont help much in terms of paypal trades though, scammers can chargeback whenever they want, and theyre likely to win the dispute cases because of paypal's rather lacking policies.

You can try in localbitcoins, some people do it
but it is not recommended at all, because you can end without bitcions and without money

Remember paypal can take the transaction back
Is this possible transaction back?
Yes. It is called a charge back. When a buyer disputes a transaction. Paypal will investigate and usually these go in favour of the buyer. It can be done within 180 days of when the transaction took place. This use to be 90 days but paypal's rules keep changing.

your best option is finding some trusted user on this forum who does this exchange and then sell your bitcoin to him.
since paypal is reversible and bitcoin is not, you have to be extra careful who or what service you put your  trust in, if you don't wanna lose your money.

This. I'd consider it myself, since I'm about to hire someone that only takes Bitcoin and not PayPal (opposite of you), :p.

In my thought the best way to exchange your bitcoins to PayPal is by Rchange.net

They charge a fees of as low as 2.5% and they are legal teams. You can trust them easily
And the best part is their services are Instant

You might want to mention to them that Word Press takes bitcoin.  Wink

Tell them to get with the times. What, are they codding in Bell C?

Yes, I'm tempted to. I think the thing that stinks about wanting to get something that can seriously compete with Freelancer.com is that there aren't many options beyond finding the right Wordpress plugin and the joke is that they say they can integrate Bitcoin, but they won't accept Bitcoin.

You can request the trade btc to paypal in the marketplace section, you can find a TRUSTED member Hero or Legendary and you can try it, unless is a six figures trade Smiley

I prefer you using www.localbitcoins.com as it will allow to get it directly in Bank.
PayPal takes a cut of service fee which can reduce your amount.

You can try in localbitcoins, some people do it
but it is not recommended at all, because you can end without bitcions and without money

Remember paypal can take the transaction back

Traditionally the most reliable route has been via Virwox but I'm not sure if it works in the opposite direction. You buy Linden dollars with Paypal and then convert to BTC. The fees are pretty hefty.

If you're in the US why not just sell to Circle or Coinbase and add to Paypal from your bank? It'll be a whole lot cheaper.

Virvox is safe but fees are astronomical

Buy ane of the altcoins mention in https://wesellcrypto.com/ with PayPal and sell those altcoins for Bitcoin, where least fees are charged. I think Poloniex is good but I have not compared fees of other exchanges with this.

your best option is finding some trusted user on this forum who does this exchange and then sell your bitcoin to him.
since paypal is reversible and bitcoin is not, you have to be extra careful who or what service you put your  trust in, if you don't wanna lose your money.

Unfortunately, do to paypals crappy policies, the Bitcoin crowd tends to avoid it like the plague.  However you will likely find someone on the forum willing to do it.   Just make sure you deal with a reputable member here who has a long history of doing PayPal trades and you will be fine.

You can just offer your coiins on the exchange section of this forum. Or you can go to xmlgold.eu to exchange your coins. XMLGold is a registered member here and is a VIP. Site has a lot of good feedbacks.

Wouldn't it just be easier to work with a payment processor that already deals in bitcoin. Neteller just started to a month ago didn't they? But it only goes one way(receive bitcoin but not send to exchange for currency), so that might not be the direction you want to go.
I don'y even tell you take until after you register an account with them. It's in the fine print   Embarrassed

there are a few trusted people on the forum in the currency exchange section, but more often than not the people looking to buy bitcoin for paypal are chargeback scammers, make sure you know who youre dealing with.

You'd would have to trade currencies with someone for it. inb4 all the posts about how bad PayPal is to trade Bitcoin.

Agreed; I've heard horror stories myself. Mostly I just want to know if there's a reliable service or an exchange or something that can handle the details without cheating me.

There are trusted people selling paypal funds.. contact monbux
