Interesting article - I'd never heard of this particular method. I was familiar with Minereum but it looks to be slightly more expensive to go that route unless you're a genesis address holder and have some to burn.

Honestly, there's probably too many crap ERC20 tokens as it is. I guess the current bear market is a good way of weeding through those, though.

Of course that there are too many...but that doesn't mean if you have great idea that you should give up...even
ordinary non-crypto startups succeed at 1 to 10 rate maybe

Recent jump to $5.5 ethereum transaction fee shows how much better is to use EXP with both faster speed
and only 0.5 cents fee (1100 times cheaper)

I know one good ICO which tokens were issued on ERC20. Check up Cryptics. This is the forecasting platform which does use 100% self-learning AI. Now they have already had a cool MVP, where you can see daily, hourly and 4-hourly forecasts for the different crypto currencie, exchanges and for the market. In September they are going to introduce a trading bot on the platform and in the future there are will be available to tade, make investments and get profits on it on their platform.

Making erc20 tokens is very simple, but how can we make it grow? This is the problem. There are too many useless tokens in the market, and no more.

Actually, there is very few on non-ETH networks, which is a shame. I agree that there are too many useless tokens in the market, but thats
the fact for any other market too, with too many products. Good ones will grow, bad ones will disappear

Nice defense of Expanse. I wonder why is in Beginners section.

Because its instruction for beginners?
Anyway, it probably works for all erc20 compatible coins (ella, pirl, ubiq, etc, musicoin...)
Sorry if I left some out, someone can add more for sure  Grin

I am quite chain-agnostic myself  Tongue so don´t do it for me. I am now more interested in chains with non-fungible tokens.

I see there is also an Expanse coin listed in coinmarketcap interesting. But is this actually legit because it feels like if you are doing things easily there is something wrong about it. I see that the coding process is simple and anyone can get in touch with that.

In the second link, Am I correct that if you programmed a useful ERC20 token using expanse, you can ask for a money to fund the project?

Why would easy equal to not legit? Whole point is to make it as easy as possible, and Expanse is actually working on
Tokenlab product that will make it even more easy

Yes you can. But we would like it to be a little more than just "Create an erc20 token" using exapanse, we want to see a legit product with a plan to get more adoption. Smiley

If a developer doesn't even have a budget for creating his token it turns out that the coin is going to be useless and worthless.

Average salary in Venezuela is $33, maybe its too much money for someone there
to spend yearly income to launch coin on ETH so that they could use coin to beat inflation (for example),
yet they could do it on cheaper networks?

It's quite easy to create an ERC-20 token, everyone could create it without issues. The hard part is to create a market value on it.

It is easy to create your own ERC20 token with leas than $3 , with an altcoin called MINERIUM. When you purchase this altcoin, you can use it to request their service. Just give them the parameters and total supply and you are done.

200 Minereum is actually $45 now (still relatively cheap)

Do we really need more useless tokens?  Roll Eyes

Why been so negative? Not everyone can afford deploying on ETH network, and even established
coins like Refereum recently had problem sending rewards because ETH fees are high (for
comparison, fees on EXP are about 300 times lesser)

Useless token is useless no matter what network it uses, but with your attitude we'd have
to freeze current state of market? Why not let market decide if something is useless or not

Article is written for Expanse network, but probably works for other few cheap Ethereum forks (Musicoin, Ubiq...)

https://expanse.tech/how-to-launch-an-erc20-token/

Good thing with Expanse is that if theres also good idea behind it and not just toying with technology,
you can ask for $5000 - $50000 here:
