1) I have to pay very hefty transaction fee of $1 per small transaction, compare to multibit wallet that costs just $0.05 per transaction.
Blockchain.info uses the same 0.0001 transaction fee as Multibit, so you probably set your fee higher yourself.

Dear allgoodthings1,
Thank you very much for your tips. I will see what I can do with the "New" option to send to just 1 address next time.

If I understand your issue, you probably don't need to delete the blockchain wallet address from your multibit wallet.  If fact, there are reasons why you should not delete address lines from the list that presents itself (in the large box, lower right) whenever you open the "Send" tab on your program.

The case is that.. when you open that tab to prepare and send money, you should not just edit the fields that populate the form automatically; you should click the "New" button, and populate all the fields directly [as for this one transaction only], before hitting the "Send" button.

I guess, if this still doesn't work for you -- or you just want to cut all your connectivity prospects between the two wallets -- you can delete the blockchain wallet address this way: Under the Send tab, in the list of addresses at the bottom right, highlight the line with the blockchain wallet address in it, and click Delete.  That deletes the line and the address.  The downside of this is that over under the Transactions button, it will delete the Label you had associated with that address -- making the transactions ledger less useful for future reference.

I have a blockchain wallet address linked with my multibit wallet.
And I end up whenever I send bitcoins to an address, some bitcoins will also be sent to my blockchain wallet.
For example, I send $10 (not more) to an address, but for whatever reason additional $6 will also be sent to my blockchain wallet, making the total transaction $16, and not $10.

How can I delete my blockchain wallet address from my multibit wallet?
So that next time whenever I wan to send some bitcoins to an address, no further bitcoins will also be sent to blockchain wallet?

Note:
Using blockchain wallet is not favored by me, because:
1) I have to pay very hefty transaction fee of $1 per small transaction, compare to multibit wallet that costs just $0.05 per transaction.
2) I keep receiving emails saying I need to login (or whatever) to my blockchain wallet again or else the wallet will be shut down; such a risk.
