Hello, we don't know anything about what this $1000 means to you if this is your life savings or if this $1000 is something you earn quickly and can replace if you have a string of bad luck in your initial investment.

Case 1: This is all you have and you are very conservative
Suggest investing the $1000 in the most solid coins you can find with strong technology and sustainable competitive advantages. People will debate which ones to invest in, but let me give you list of coins to consider. You will note none of them are recent ICOs: BTC, LTC, ETH, DCR, NEM, WAVES, XMR, FCT

Case 2: You have $1000 now and have $1000 more in 6 months, here you can buy some speculative high flyers and not worry too much if you have initial losses.
You can buy the same coins as above, but can take some risk and also buy some more speculative names to increase your gain potential. You can expect high volatility here.

Speculative coins XBY (Poof of Signature), Shift (distributed file system, Spectrecoin (privacy coin with PoS minting), Radium (blockchain data layer), BLOCK (decentralized exchange)

I would have a piece of everything you have said if I were you. Diversifying your portfolio is a good thing. But I am not big on SiaCoin. I prefer NEM if you want to invest for long term on it. It is still very cheap and it is predicted to rise to 1$ this year.

Here's my 2 cents worth of suggestion. I would choose LTC over NEO. NEO is simply overpriced right now. It might go down. LTC on the other hand is way cheaper but you will have to be patient on holding. Waves or Stratis, I would love to have a share of the two. Although in terms of profits, Waves might yield a little more. For Monero and OmiseGo, wait for the dip. Siacoin, grab some because it is also cheap and has a future.

If you have 1000$ and want to diployed your investment you must need to choose a good potensial and stable coin and must be long term.I suggest you to invest in waves coin.waves coin is more potensial during time and it has a good futute. And Ltc is also stable.you can invest here also but it need to more longer trade.

based on some information I got, i think it is better not to invest your money too much. for example between NEO and LTC, choose which is cheaper. if you have chosen one (LTC) of them, just buy as sufficient as you think. estimate how you can not fail in investment!

All tokens in the near future will bring profit.
