But you don't need to - you just trade xrp directly on Ripple. If you trade for bitcoins you can then withdraw the bitcoins to bitstamp and send them to your bitcoin wallet.

Once I sent from Ripple small amount of BTC to: rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B?dt=44949 and this amount appeared on my Bitstamp account. 
I tried sending to their ripple address but no amount was added to my account. Can you help me how to deposit ripple in bitstamp?
