Dear friend,
I have ever you are currently. When you receive the tokens from bounty campaign, their price is very high. But some weeks later, the price is downtrend, very much. The costs are unvaluable. I can not buy those. Those are aniversary coins only.

I have participated in a bounty campaign and received my tokens. After few weeks, the price of the altcoin went down. Does it really happen? At first, the price is high, but goes down over time. How will I determine of the price will go down or up? Any tips? Thanks!
Changes in market prices can be affected by many different factors, so if you want to know what the price will be, you can only take the time to understand. It is necessary to pay attention to the real-time dynamics of the project. But you are the coin you get through the bounty, you don't have to spend money, so you don't have to worry too much. If the price is too low, put them in your wallet and wait for the price to rise.

it is common to happen when receiving the first token must be high and decrease a few weeks later. maybe it's a game from the market. my advice if you receive a token but the price in accordance with your expectations immediately sold. but if not you can hold it for a while, but this has a pretty high risk because the price may not go up for months.

Crypto is determined by the users who buy Altcoin money value in the money market. The higher the demand, the greater the Altcoin value. Altcoin causes the content and usage of the project to increase in value and increase demand.
The price in initial coin offering also commonly be used as a factor to determine how much each coin price will range in the market, people basically don't know how much its worth if we rely purely based on demand the price will fluctuate even worst therefore some people tend to buy or sell at the price of ico rate or near to that.

You should analyze the future price of the main crypto currency bitcoin and the mood on the market. In most cases price of altcoins repeat movement of the bitcoin price.

It depends upon the selected project. If you select scam project then temporarily price will be high, more and more people will buy it and after some time the price will crash and that coin become dead.Investor of such project just collect funds from people and then run away.If you selected a productive based project, then the price of your tokens may be low at a time but with the passage of time and community interest it will hike and you can sell with profit.Always be careful in selecting your project.

Price of altcoins are being determined by the total investment that it collected which is equal to "market cap".

And when there are people who starts selling these coins, money from "market cap" are being lessen which makes the price lower.

you can predict the future so  you can't determine future of the price. What you can do is hope that coins that you've received will rise

I try to determine the supply of a coin vis a vis it's market price. I also like to see the technical support of what the coin is providing plus the fact that there is verifiable amount of supply.

you can not specify, crypto trade that makes the price rise or fall. buyers and sellers.
thus, the market that makes the circulation role in asset turnover, up or down. you just need to seek knowledge about trading.

I believe that is related with having a strong community for ICO. In this ICO releasing to exchange phase if communication between holders is good than you can keep prices up

No one can accurately grasp the price trend of altcoin, usually after the coin enters the exchange, the bounty hunters and ICO customers will sell some of their tokens, which is hard to avoid. What you want to do is to sell as quickly as possible before they are.

Let me tell you one thing, volatility is a big issue in the space and you need to either see yourself as an investor or trader, so that you won't be concern about every price swing. From what you describe above, it is possible the bounty tokens crashed the price but if it s a good project you have nothing in particular to worry about because the price will recover. I think you should learn more about the space

The price of subcodes in the market is determined by the demand collected and the amount of sales obtained before the market goes out. The price of buying and selling affects the price after you go out to the market at a certain price. It rises or falls.

Altcoin prices are determined by the supply and demand in the market. The price goes up when there is more demand. Likewise, price go down when there is more supply.

If you believe in the project, it is better to hold the coin till the project is more recognised and price rise.

a lot of bounty hunters are selling it , so its price is falling . i think they are unwise . you should keep your bounty tokens for at least three months . observe the progress of the project . wait for the coin to mature . with a little more patience , you will get more income .

It's because most of the bounty hunters are making bounty campaign and trading as their main financial source.
This is bad because bounty hunters are mostly are the ones who dumped early and too cheap in order to get money as soon as possible.
Last year I am holding every altcoins that I get from signature bounty campaigns so today they're all pumping and offering me higher earnings and profits especially if I am going to hold it more.

there are only two factors on  determining crypto price value.
1. People or the free market will determine the price on how much people would pay for it's existence.
2. The crypto project will also affects the price value on how much the supply and the demands are. Billion supply coins aren't pumping high because of their supply is too high while the demand isn't that high as well.

Therefore, many people sell their tokens immediately. Growth is rather a nice bonus, which will not wait, and here a collapse can happen at any time. And all should rejoice that at exit, token is at least worth something.

I think that in this situation, most likely, simply after receiving the tokens, all participants sold them on the stock exchange because of what the price fell

It is difficult to determine the price will move up or down because there are several factors that affect the market but the most important factor is progress of the project, so you should be able to assess how the development of Altcoin project will affect the price

Volatility is absolutely a common thing in crypto world, it truest happen any time being an improptu matter. What really matter most base on my own statistics in the crypto market is what goes up would surely comes down some days but if you are really holding what worths holding, then you have no worries because it will surely wake up and moon to your taste. You have nothing to loose man. #justmyopinion

You should check some reviews of the coin that you have received from bounty of sites like icobench.com . If there are bad reviews there, it's very likely that the price of coin will be much lower than the price of the Ico.
On the other side, if you receive tokens from a serious project, you should'nt worry about the price, as people won’t want to sell their coins cheaper than the Ico price.

Yeah you can somewhat predict how the the price of a token will fall after the campaign ends. First you need to check how much tokens they are distributing for free or through reward system pre ICO. The more free tokens they distribute the lower the price will be since after receiving those free tokens most users end up dumping it. Next, the price depends on how good the project is.
That's more like it and now there is a recognizable pattern for the trajectory of coins and tokens alike after they are released to the public and any discerning eyes can tell that soon after ICOs are over and the coins/tokens become exchangeable, inevitable sell offs would force the price down, but if the project was on a strong footing, the price usually pick up sooner than later.

My take is to always split any fund am willing to invest in any ICO I perceive has some prospect, so to able to buy some more even at cheaper rates after the ICO and then hodl until my target is met.

It's hard to know if the price of token which you're holding will rise back or not. After distribution of bounty campaign, price of all token often dump very quickly because almost bounty hunters often sell all amount of token the got from bounty right after the distribution. But if the project behind this token is really good, you no need to worry cause the price will rise back very soon.

Unfortunately that will happen if you joined a bounty, received your rewards and Hold it. I've been in the bounties section many times and participated in many bounty programs and in my experience that always happens every time.

One time I read a conversation in one of my telegram's GC a two bounty hunter and they said that after they received the token and it's listed in some exchange they sell it immediately, my assumption are:

1. As a bounty hunter the person needs profit urgently and so... when he/she receives the rewards and that token is listed to some exchange he/she automatically sells it.
2. All the bounty hunters know that all the people who receives the token (Bounty participants) will sell it immediately and in result the price will go down, so all the
participants will sell their token in fear of losing the value of the token if they going to hold it.

Once again this is just my assumptions or perception. It may be true in some point or not.

This helped me a lot. I think number 2 is the reason why the price went down. I guess I still need to gain more experiences like this one. It was my first time receiving a token.

Most of the time, the price of a token depends on how well the investor recognizes it.
If people are not optimistic about this token, then the sell-off will cause a sharp drop in the price of tokens.

As many bounties you participate as many different coins you receive. From my point of view, it is the best way to earn something, just hard work and don't dream about millions dollars and may be you will derail the jackpot. Good luck, happy bounties

This is about trading analysis and you have to learn to know the price trend. Mostly, if the ico is hot and many participants can't buy, so the price will go up after listed on exchange and price will down after 2-7 days. For long time listed coins, you have to learn about trading analysis, there no ways else to help.

the price of the altcoin went down. Does it really happen?
Where have you been during those times when the whole market was on bloody months. This is really happening and this is the reality about the crypto market. Don't expect that the charts will be on green forever and you can't see a red stain on it.

At first, the price is high, but goes down over time.
You just joined a bounty and you expect that you'll receive something stable? Crypto prices aren't stable except those stable coins like tether.

How will I determine of the price will go down or up? Any tips? Thanks!
Start analyzing and reading the charts.

Do not worry about initial fall if you can hold for few more weeks and the project is good, if you have some emergency and need funds then you can sell at low price otherwise i will not auggest you, selling under ico price is never a wise decision.

The most important thing is whether the project is good or not. If they got a good plan and a good team to work on then just hold those coins for long-term and if possible buy some more at a lower price. Because at the start people may not be confident about the project so they may be dumping for small profits but if you hold those kinds of coins then you can make a lot of coins in the future. But if you're not sure about the project then better sell off and buy some other coins with that money.

It is very difficult to predict the price of a token tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. But if you understand well how the market works then you can guess when the price of a token will grow. I know for sure that the price is rising before going to popular stock exchanges, and this is a fact!

Once a token or a coin hits the market, there is really no way to determine the possibility of a sell off or if there is going to be an outright increase in value immediately as most of the time, it just happens immediately and while some may be looking at it as a chance to sell as quick as possible to buy back lower, some real investors may just be holding and buying the dips. It is not something anyone can help unless the team are willing to hold the value strong as much as they can in the case of some trying to sell below the ICO price, but I am not sure if that happens that much or at all. If you want to follow the value of your altcoin however, you can make use of blockfolio just to keep seeing how they are doing.

it is often and very likely to happen almost every new token and enter the market then the price suddenly dropped drastically from the previous price,
usually the price will go up when the product from ico has been launching or working well,
the best advice is to stay patient while monitoring and analyzing the ico

All I know is that I know nothing.
altcoins are pump and dump toys so you have to keep your eye open for pumps and try to figure out where on this cycle you are buying the coin. for example based on what you said here i assume you bought it on late part of the initial pumping step and then got dumped on.

what you need to do is that you should buy in the early pumping stages instead.

here is a quick thing i just drew helping you see the different phases. i hope it helps:

you basically want to buy in with the smart money as the volume is increase first but anywhere before the peak is a good buy chance specially the first panic sell moment although the risk is rising with the price rise.

Yes you're right it happens, however, I know of only one ICO in recent times that has not done this. Blockgrain.io team had the foresight and fairness to keep presale price equal to the main sale price. This shows what intentions a team has. Less focus on greed and more on onboarding the right people.

They’re aiming to automate the supply chain with Grain and later on Fruit/Vegetables/Wool.
These days, hardly any ICOs have what it takes to give 100% confidence to investors like me. They come up with the most random ideas and spend a few 100k dollars on marketing and building hype. Then they have token sales where pre-sale investors are given discounted rates. They end up dumping the coin as soon as there is an exchange listing.

You can get some tokens by promoting them on social media..If interested their BlockGrain.io bounty thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3332256.new#new
