I never tried to mining any coins from my mobile phone, and I know that it will be too difficult to earn some rewards, especially if the mobile phone doesn't have a high-end specification.
I heard from my friends that they could mine some altcoin, but I never ask about how much rewards they got because, in the end, they cannot earn many rewards compare if they use the hardware for mining that coin.
Besides that, I hear that if we use the mobile phone for the mining process, that could make the phone hotter and it could damage the phone itself.

Mining scams are just one type of scams on mobile devices. If you want to learn more about mobile phone scams, Binance has an article on this: https://www.binance.vision/security/common-scams-on-mobile-devices

To the OP, don't bother. Whatever you mine would be miniscule @ best.

Better doing a Faucet than Mining with this Application, Example you can try to mine some cryptocurrency with the distribution end to end faucet just like Raiblock (XRB) aka Nano. I don't know why people really love so much with these Android Mining, It's better to find a job than you do this mining android. Try to look Banano some shitcoin based like Nano their distribution method using Faucet & Game Grin

Sell the f*king phone and buy crypto with the money.

The phone won't last that long to cover the ROI. I'm talking from person experience.
Had an old Lumia 1020. Was "mining" watching ads for BTC so the results was 5-6000 Satoshi per week for couple of months. Totally not worth it but it's ok for the fun.

Only with Electroneum you don't ruin the device. It's benchmarking your phone once and after that you get same rewards just for participating pretending that you mine something...

You wouldn't be getting far when you use your Android device/smartphone on mining. No matter how many cores and how fast your processors are (AFAIK Snapdragon 855 is the fastest today, and even that wouldn't take you to something) you still wouldn't be getting ample hash power to mine decently and you'll just end up with a toasted phone. Anyway, even though a single smartphone wouldn't be an enough producer of hash power, a ton of them would somehow be enough to mine a coin that has low competition, and this is what other people do: infect other devices with mining malware and use their phones to produce an okay amount of hash power to give them something, at the least.

I don't think it's possible. It's total scam
And when has Ripple ever been a minable coin?
You got it. XRP is premined and it's not possible to mine XRP.

Another sign that scammers are not very creative to invent new scamming methods (or there are still dumb people falling for obvious scams like XRP-mining-investments)  Cheesy

Mining bitcoin requires Hugh amount of energy and even when using a system to mine it always advisable to specially use that system just for mining alone.
And mining with the use if a mobile device this might be possible but would be very strenuous to the android  and not android device has the power voltage capacity to mine

Is no profitable to real mine the crypto coins on smartphone, it will damage your phone over time, and will overheat. There are a project ETN who mine without need to phone to use and is not real mining, but now the price is not so good but who know over time.

Payment Gateway Allows Recurring Payments
Those apps probably contains some malware that will allow the devs to checkout the whole usage of the people that will have it installed on their phones it isn't only those information that they gather but they are also trying to fetch crypto walletsfrom that phone to be monitored. I really think that it is one of the cause why many have been reporting hacks, they aren't oriented of those apps that they install. Most of these apps that tells they mine are just showing simulation of mining.

You must be very careful with such apps, it could be a malware targeting crypto lovers with the hacker knowing that the people who download and use it could be having vital information in their devices such as address private keys and the app will just transmit your information to hacker and boom, your money is gone.

Basically it is possible to mine crypto on Android but its not profitable at all and I would not recommend anyone doing so.
Not all crypto can't mine on Android. Do you know Electroneum? I see some article is that tokens is mineable on Android. I don't know if this is mining or not but, in their website is called mining.
Check in here.
Electroneum was mined on Android by almost all of the newbie in cryptocurrency. It was easy to mine, I didn't mine although. But at the end of the day, it was not profitable, neither it was possible.

That coin was hyped a lot as the first coin only mineable on smartphones.  It looks like it has gone nowhere and there doesn't really seem to be much support for it.

Easy mining will never have a high profit because everyone wants to earn money doing nothing which shrinks the profits to almost zero.

Everyone should be clear that any mining on phone or average PC is not profitable, and that devices used in such way will be seriously damaged, especially when it comes to smartphones. I know some people use their PC to mine some coin with very low difficulty, and then wait to that coins reach a high price, so in that way some profit (maybe) can be achieved.

Unfortunately widespread idea that cryptocurrency is magic money machine, and that you can become rich with mining on smarthphone still deceive many people, while at the same time those who stand behind such scams make profit. Such applications should not be available for download at all, but Google obviously is unable to control every app. The fact that the application is available does not mean it is good or safe to use.

It's virtual mining that doesn't require extensive PoW work. Think of if like staking. Even if it doesn't require extensive hash rate, it is still not profitable.

The basic technical charateristic of all  mobile devices is those devices have worse, and less effectively heat-ventilation and heat-radiator.
And, the characteristic is one of main reasons that will put mobile devices under higher risks of damages.
And, mobile devices tend to have shorter lifespan.
So, I agreed that never should use mobile devices to mine or stake cryptos if you have rigs.
In the case you don't have rigs, you should use money to invest in crypto, rather than invest into new mobile devices (when your devices damaged and broken later).
