I do not even know if merits are still being distributed.
it's been distributed you just dont see them because you ignore those type of post or threads. also you run out of sMerit

I have never received any, I know I am new here but I have seen a lot of old accounts without merits
maybe your post isnt merit worthy that's why you never received any. they got here before you.

I think the system  is being abused by merit farms and people selling merits. Not cool at all
there are always be abusers they get punished by tagging their accounts.

Does anyone here on how to earn more merit here in the forum a side from posting constructive words ? Because i see a lot here in the forum even you are posting constructive words only few people are giving merit  i think only moderator.

Posting constructive words? What are you like some copycat of an English dictionary or thesaurus? Posting helpful stuff and information can get you merits if merit sources have not already added you their "ignore list". But the looks of it, it you are thinking of getting merits by posting in Altcoin Discussion, then feel free to stay on the zero merit mark.

No merit source actually patrols the Altcoins section. This is a bitcoin forum and though we have altcoin sections most Merit sources here being hardcore bitcoin lovers rarely if ever accidentally enter those boards. Sorry mate but its the truth. Smiley

Tip 1 - don't ask a question that has bee asked and replied to 600 times before.
Tip 2 - don't start threads about merit.
Tip 3 - Read the quality posts on the forum before you start threads
Tip 4 - Don't think of Bitcoin Talk as a free lunch
Tip 5 - Stay off merit awarders ignore lists ( well you've missed that one, )

LMAO!

- love this.

I was just about to say enough with this merit thingy. People should get a grip on themselves. I think the moderators should place a warning on members who complain about merit or start threads with merit. It obviously has come to stay, while I cannot sympathize with those who don't get it... It's become a broken record already.

I totally agree. This looks like the typical "How to earn bitcoin from online?" shipost on the Bitcoin Discussion section. I think we wouldn't lose anything if it gets deleted. And we would have a cleaner meta section.

Merit complainers talked about it repeatedly before you did it.
So, please stop this.
Crying, complaining, arguing on negative sides of merit system will not help you earning merits.

Where are evidence?
I need evidence-based judgements, not arbitrary ones.

...posting constructive words ?
I guess you need to be more active in your local board if you have any.

You forgot about merit sources or may be you do not have any idea about them at all LOL

Anyway, there are people who are continuously giving merits but unfortunately after having a quick glance on your post history, I could not find a post that worth merit. I could not bother more to browse your 2nd and 3rd page, sorry.
