There's no need to be upset
Well I can't tell if this new feature was recently added by etherscan or not, am just loving this new feature and am just excited about the ease of usage. Sometimes it becomes really stressful keeping such information on wallet transactions on a memo or a notepad on a your computer.

it's been around for some years now.
more than 12 months for sure

it's quite usefull, isn't it?

the hability to track tokens as well comes in hand.

People gave you the only right advice on tracking coins in your Ethereum wallets that can be carried out using Etherscan.  But I think that you want to receive certain notifications about the changes that have occurred.  I think that not one service does not offer such services, as well as for example your account at any of the trading exchanges when notifications are received by e-mail About withdrawing cryptocurrency funds or about crediting coins to your wallets. In addition, I think it’s not difficult to check ethereum wallets using the Etherscan service, because you can even bookmark specific links and easily access information.

actually, funcionality described in OP can be used for tracking withdraws and new deposits on ANY  ethereum wallet since it can notify you for ins and outs - including tokens.

the plus on that is exactly that you receive it via email, don't have to access your ethercan bookmarked or put your wallet there and search on the website

I don't know if I am right with my understanding to this topic. For us to track Ethereum wallets/transaction/token, we can use ethplorer.io or etherscan as well, using this two whether you use copy and paste them to this two platform you can able to see the content of the wallet you put in there for sure.

again, both websites are good but I'm talking about a way to be notified via email if transactions on the walllet happen (both in or out) which is quite useful.

Etherscan is a very useful website but do not forget that Trust wallet can do better, you don't need to add token contract address manually because trust wallet will automatically display all tokens you have in the address

trust wallet is a good software but won't email you.

For 99% of the crypto user, Metamask would be the one. You can add Tokens there.
And yes always have a backup of your security phrase. Just Incase

did you read OP?
just checking.

metamaks is good software but not what I'm reffering to here.

I found that Cryptocurrency Alerting also works the same way in notifying us on our watch address list.

Yes I have been using this for my wallet, though the best way that's working for me now is that of Ethan exploral. I downloaded the application and insighted my wallet into it to have a track of my tokens, either be lively tokens or died tokens, it's easy to handle compared to the first above. Most at times, I get alerted when tokens are be paid into my watched wallet. Also, its easy to make transaction with; when selling out from the wallet.

Yes, I have been also using this telegram bot for tracking my ERC20 wallet since two years. It works smoothly to me from that time.
And OP share another way for tracking wallet. Many other way you can find but only some will be better if you find something  where you are active more.

Well, I just found out there is a simple way to find out and track the transactions that we do. however, this is very beneficial for those who want the transaction to be seen. but this might disappear when it is entered into an exchanger.

I'll rather use a throwaway email address for the purposes of keeping track my transactions rather than using a Telegram channel to do so, just to avoid using the app entirely. Other than that bitmover's suggestion is actually nice if you are just keeping track of a few amounts of Erc-20 tokens and avoiding using your email. I know that this is still a bot service and you can't talk to other people but would you really trust the data you are giving in on this bot service rather than the website of Etherscan itself?

Definitely would never use Telegram or anything centralized. I do trust Telegram more than email,,, but never can I trust anything that I do not know how to prove for myself that is is secure or truly private.

I mean, even if something is open source I cannot have the tech knowledge on my own to prove stuff, so how can I ever know for sure right?

Yes, this is also a good option to keep track of your ETH wallet.
That bot can notify any new transactions directly to your Telegram account. I've been using that bot for a long time.

Interesting logic. I prefer a slightly more complicated method than giving up trust in bots or other sites where security is not guaranteed. Check regularly through Etherscan and turn on notifications via email.
Instead of thinking negatively for bots and similar sites, but just in case for asset security, right?

It's not the reliability of the bot I'm only worried about, the whole Telegram app is what I actually don't trust especially the channels you'll be part of. You'll actually be surprised that if you just joined at least one channel about crypto the next day you'll have new channels that you actually didn't even joined in. Aside from that Telegram is notorious of having a lot of scams happening done by its users which is something you need to keep in watch from phishing sites being linked to a lot of impersonating happening you'll never know what will hit you with a a lot of people trying to scam you. Like I said etherscan is there and I don't think you need a 3rd party service to fully utilize that website, you actually don't need a 3rd party service for that.

I think they created the possibility to opt-out of other users adding you to groups without your permission, but not so sure.

you're right, telegram had a massive leak with some politicians messages in Brazil earlier last year, it' not the safest place to be.
but some features come in hand somtimes.

still, a throwaway email on protonmail can be created in minutes and youre ready to go with etherscan...

This bot has a limit on the number of monitored wallets, which you have to pay to remove. I use another bot that works no worse, and it’s free and you can bind an unlimited number of wallets to it.
The bot has a slightly reduced functionality regarding the display of stock price quotes, but otherwise it is not inferior to yours.

@tracktxbot

yes,the cool part about etherscanis that you trckas many as you want.

How about a single wallet that gives good details of the tokens you have in your ETH Wallet Address with price information? If you can use trust wallet you won't be needing etherscan or Ethplorer to track tokens

trust walet is nice but mobile wallets are not as safe as a wallet you can generate on MEW (or other service) and keep cold.

my pleasure pakhitheboss, glad it helped somehow.

An easy way to keep track of all the movement on wallets is to use etherscan

If you sign in, you'll be able to add any address you want to your watchlist:

there just click "add new" and you'll be able to insert the wallet address and a label for organization
you can also choose to follow only incoming transfers, outgoing or all.

if you want to keep track of all transactions including tokens make sure to check the little box with the message "also trackERC20 token transfers".

you can add any address even if you don't own the private key and etherscan will send you an email letting you know about transfers on the address.

it's quite usefull.

Hope this helps somehow

Thanks for the wonderful post.
I have been using ethplorer to do the same. I had bookmarked my multiple address on my browser to monitor the transactions. I knew it is poosible to use etherscan for the same but. I never liked the interface and it doesnot have the dark mode.

I also use telegram often, but I use @tracktxbot. It has the advantage that you can track more wallet addresses than @ETHtokenExplorer_bot can only track two wallets and it notifies any unconfirmed transfer orders.

I also use trackbots, although I can check many ETH wallets, but sometimes they are more delayed than @ETHtokenExplorer_bot. I have checked many times and can confirm that if you do not need to check a large number of ETH addresses, you should use @ETHtokenExplorer_bot

What I understand in discussing this topic is about an easy way to track a wallet and transactions that occur inside the wallet and to see the tokens in the wallet, and it's not only the ETH token, so for that obviously you must use etherscan or ethplorer, not just just use a wallet and see the number of tokens in it.

It is good if you have multiple wallets.
However if you have just a few addresses,  you can just bookmark them on ether scan so you can keep track of your shitcoins.
This the trick that I do to track my tokens, it is easier than any other, because all the time I have my hands on my PC I am on a browser surfing the net and checking out things including my wallet on etherscan, few clicks and there goes you balances.

I've been using Etherscan for quite a time now and the ID are good way of getting notified. You just need to add watch addresses, they can be yours or anyones and you get the balance for each wallet as well as the combined balance and you also get notified for transactions through email if you have enabled it. The email notification are my favorite feature of etherscan.

Yes, this one, bookmark it and check if you are waiting for some bounty or expecting coins to go to your wallet. So I don't used telegram bots, actually it was my first time to hear that. Maybe I'm just old school so I still go with that traditional way of checking my wallet.

But the guide that the OP is good though, but maybe it's not for everyone.

I know mobile wallets like IMtoken can instantly notify you of incoming and outgoing transactions but it's been a while since I last used it. I am not sure if the new version of IMtoken still does this. If etherscan will notify you through email, I think it's more practical to use mobile wallets instead but that's if you're okay with the level of their security.

if you're using a mobile eth walet you can also track it, since it's the same blockchain
you could just register it on etherscan too
I believe it's a matter of what each users finds easier.

bookmarking is usefullbut not instant
this method on main post can let you know about all the received transactions as soon as they arrive
let's say you are waiting for a payment or airdrop: boom.
