Well, deleting a post is not exactly possible but as it is with deleting the threads, you can edit the poll to "Test" and Options to "Test 1" "Test 2" etc. As to how you can edit(bored to give a screenshot, its over the OP of a thread in the poll body) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=editpoll;topic=topicNum(topic created by you that is). Now for editing the poll results, go to "Reset Vote Count" and check the checkbox now.

You can delete your thread with the poll if no one else, including you have posted a reply on that thread. Otherwise you can only lock that thread and wait until that thread disappears behind the last pages of the section and/or moved to the archives section.
If you dont know what you are talking about dont speak
OP, in many sections of the forum, you can delete your thread with the poll if no-one has seen the thread yet, but you cant just erase the poll, just copy the text and start a new thread without the poll, you can also try moving the old thread to archive

You can lock the voting so no one can vote. Or you could just lock the thread and create a new one without a poll.
