Your topic is how to export private key from MEW. But you focus on how to export private key from ForkDelta.

A few days back, there are 3 ways to create a new MEW wallet on MEW website

1. Private key
2. Keystore file
3. Mnemonic phrase

But now there are 2 ways to create a new MEW wallet on MEW website.

1. Keystore file
2. Mnemonic phrase

None of the above two are RECOMMENDED way to create a new wallet.

The only RECOMMENDED way to create new wallet is to Download the MEW wallet App from Google Play Or
App store.

You can downward MEW wallet from Google play.
After installing the App you can create a free wallet.

At first you have to create a pin.

After that your wallet is creating automatically.

Now you have to Back up Mnemonic Phrase of 24 words.

After completing all those you see that, you can't find any Private Key.
You Just find Mnemonic phrases and wallet address.

And this is the secure and RECOMMENDED way to create a new MEW wallet now. Thank you.

All suggestions above were true, never use your main ERC20 wallet or MEW when you are exporting your wallet to any Decentralized exchange (DEX). Although for me this is not new, still this is very helpful to those new users of DEX.

I have also my suggestion, never leave a long term open trade on that DEX because once you did not have an update they will delist token without informing users (I have experienced this). It is better if you monitor sometimes or don't ever leave your token or ETH of the DEX platform after trading.

I dont think your findings are anything new to do now from forkdelta, its just that you might not realize it from the start. Sorry, I didnt mean to offend you, but that is the truth. Cheesy

I only advise you not to use the Ethereum address that you generate from creating a new address from forkdelta even though you have full control over the PK. This refers to a number of things that might make you lose your assets or money because using the address you generate from there is not recommended for long-term use. Only MEW or Metamask is recommended by many people including by campaign managers and ICO project developers and others.

On previous occasions, I have created a thread that might be useful for beginners here to create an Ethereum address from MEW and produce a PK that can be stored and used for a long time. Read and learn if you want because I have locked this thread and if there is something I want to ask, I can open the lock at any time.

I agree with the post above that you should create new wallet instead of exporting your current wallet to mew. Reason why you should create new wallet is you said that some people say that forkdelta is being hacked by a hacker which means that the hacker may have acces to your wallet already. Anyway, I'll just post on how to export wallet to mew using private key.

1.) Go to MEW (Myetherwallet.com).

2.) Click "Access My Wallet".

3.) Scroll to right and Choose Software.

4.) Select Private Key and Click Continue.

5.) Paste Your Private Key and Access Wallet.

EDIT: This steps is for those who have wallets created from MEW.
After importing your wallet in this case using the ".json" file then click the "PRINTER ICON" and will show you this if you decide to get your private key. Refer image below.

If you are talking about this, I recommend you to not use the wallet which you have used in forkdelta. Transfer all your fund into a new wallet. Just go to MEW and create a new wallet with private key or phrase key whichever you preffered and transfer all your fund from the forkdelta account to newly created account.

Now,
We can export private kye easily from forkdelta by following some step.

1st step: Go to forkdelta.

Click on "Select account"

Now click on "New account"

Now just collect your private key.

It’s one way to create wallet and collect privet key.

Actually i like to khow how to export private kye from myetherwallet (MEW) . Because, some people/user/traders say, much wallet has been hacked from forkdelta.
