Dude you are killing us here. You said that your 0.10 BTC deposit to Binance came from a gambling site. After that you said you could not find any transactions in that amount followed by the info that you found an email from a gambling site you use where you withdrew an amount equal to 0.10 BTC.

So did the money originate from gambling or not? I am totally confused here.

I think he figured out it did come from a gambling site, he was just retelling the whole story from the beginning.

@jerry0, enter you binance address into a wallet explorer (I like https://blockchair.com) and look for that transaction you are curious about.  Once you find it you can search for the address that sent the transaction on https://www.walletexplorer.com, which may tell you what service owns that wallet.

If it's likely from a gambling site jerry needs to use his deposit address(from the gambling site) and try to pair the wallet id with the transactions connected from his binance address.

When I was trading with my friend I did some search and used wallet explorer the to see if they're using the same exchange (and we did).

There is also this site you can use that will show you some information about addresses as well as if there are any scam alerts for that particular address.

I haven't compared it to walletexplorer so you can test both if you want.

Can't you just ask the gambling site you've used for these details or they're not willing to give the dates of your transaction.

If the gambling site is well known their wallets and addresses are usually tagged and can be found on walletexplorer but if it's not popular then you need to ask the support of the gambling site you've withdrawn from.

Trading history in binance shows the transactions i did with the btc.  Such as me buying altcoin with it.  It didn't show like where the 0.10 btc came from.  Thus if i check the btc address... it really wouldn't give me a clue since if its not electrum address, then it has to be a gambling site btc address.
trading history is strictly for trading activities, you need to look up on deposit history
check again carefully, find a "deposit history" page on your binance account
an address or deposit transaction id can give more clue on where it came from
do you still have the electrum wallet with you? can't you check your electrum transactions?

Hi there i just found out where the btc came from, was from gambling site as i expected.
I did not know where the 0.10 btc came from originally exactly but it 100% came from either electrum or gambling site. But when i checked the gambling sites that i use where i deposit/withdraw btc, i could not find a transaction for that date so thats when i could not figure it out.  Then i logged into my email and looked for a btc withdraw from those betting sites and one site... showed a btc withdraw that day and that amount of dollars matched up to the 0.10 btc amount.

It didn't show like where the 0.10 btc came from.  Thus if i check the btc address... it really wouldn't give me a clue since if its not electrum address, then it has to be a gambling site btc address.

But im close to 100% sure the 0.10 btc sent to binance that day was either a gambling site or bittrex.
You have three options for either a gambling site, bittrex or electrum.
About binance trading history: You can see transactions last year but by selecting the option every 3 months. That is, what you are showing is the last 3 months.
Electrum: If you have used one seed over the past year: click view >> show addresses >> check address balance.

I had around 0.10 btc deposited into my binance account over 1 year ago.  I then did a trade or two and that was it.  I did not know where the 0.10 btc came from originally exactly but it 100% came from either electrum or gambling site.  There is no other way.

Hi there i just found out where the btc came from, was from gambling site as i expected.
So you are 100% you deposited these coins? Or is there is a chance they came from your tradings?

But when on binance site, it doesn't show anything.  For example i can't even find transaction where i had btc sent a while back.  only the transaction for trade though.
Where did you check? Try:

1. the Binance's deposit address transaction history on a block explorer.
2. your trading history.

Is there reason you dont use binance anymore?  You from US as well?
No particular reason at all. I just don't have to as I don't trade anymore. I just use my local exchanges when I need to buy/sell some BTC.

Can someone tell me how i can find this information out?
Not really. Try checking your Binance's deposit address in a blockchain explorer, finding the 0.1 BTC deposit, seeing which address originated it, then looking for it in your wallets. There isn't any kind of info related to the wallet anywhere else (blockchain, binance, etc...). Or just check your deposit history (I guess it should be there, but I don't use Binance anymore)

Also is there a way to see what btc address was used to send the 0.10 btc to my binance account?  I basically did a trade that same day to buy altcoins.  But i do not know where the 0.10 btc came from exactly to binance.  But i need to know how i had 0.10 btc sent to binance on that day over a year ago.
Do the above to see if you deposited it from a wallet. Otherwise, check your trading history to see if it was from a trade.

I'm American and registered my binance account outside the US a while back.

I deposited btc into binance over 1 year ago.  It was for around 0.10 btc or so.  I took a look at my old email and see that on a certain date, i sent 0.10 btc to binance over a year ago.  But i want to know, is there a way now to see how i got that btc sent to binance?  Because over 1 year ago, i used electrum where i kept my btc but when i look at my old transactions, i do not see 0.10 btc sent on that date.  Thus the btc sent to binance was sent from another site.  But i do not know what site it was.  Such as it is most likely a gambling site where i requested btc and had it to sent to binance.  But i check those gambling sites i used but cannot find history of me withdrawing btc that date.  But im close to 100% sure the 0.10 btc sent to binance that day was either a gambling site or bittrex.

Can someone tell me how i can find this information out?  Its for tax purposes.
