When a new fork occurs (Bitcoin Gold, Super Bitcoin etc) the network hashrate is low so it's a good time to mine it

That is right, basically forks, BTC fork should have occurred IMHO

I use announcement thread on this forum, its a good starting point but you need to go through a lot of reading since there are many new coins every day of wich some are only minable with asics. Then you need to look at those that you can mine with your gear at whos making them and if its just another pump and dump coin or that project have a good future.Yeah it takes times but in the end you can make way more with mining then other people that use whattomine stats

if we find a new block, there is no guarantee that the block will be part of the blockchain consensus. Miners need luck here.
So clearly, that if someone is mining Bitcoin, that means the person is using a mining device. Can use CPU, GPU, FPGA, and ASIC. An explanation of this device will be discussed in the next section.

He means NEW coins, not new blocks on existing coins.

Hey everyone,
I am wondering if there is a place to find the newest coins to start mining.
I have a thought that if I start mining right at the beginning of the blockchain, I can get a lot more than if I catch it later.
Anyone know where I can find something like that?
Thanks!
