If you want a thread stickied make your case in Meta and/or to the mods of that specific sub (open discussion in Meta would be better in my opinion). I also agree with BadBear and Lauda that the fewer threads stickied the better though the most important info could be collated into one thread.

Yeah, I think it would be better to have one centralized thread that links to all the important threads, instead of too many stickies that people will just skim over.

I concur. One could make a thread that has links to such threads and then talk to one of the moderators of the section. Begginers & Help does have a lot of duplicates and useless posts/threads.

I also do not like it when a section has too many stickies. It just doesn't look right to me (up to 3 is acceptable).

Yo , I was wondering how and what are we supposed to do to get a thread of ours sticked , I know it should be helpful or something like that however there is few threads on Beginners & Help section but don't see them sticked and if they are , it would definitely reduce the spam .
So is the OP of a topic should make a poll and people vote if it should be sticked or not ? or how does it work

Afaik, mods decide whether a topic should be stickied or not. You can request that in the thread provided that it is beneficial to the board you posted it. In the beginners and help sec., faq are about wallets and ways to earn. Wallets topic could be stickied, though the latter is not necessary.

Yep. If a majority of people in here thinks that the thread will be really helpful or useful for wveryone then mods can decide to put it in stickies.
