The truth is if you want a stable, reliable way to receive TXT and Voice Authentications for say registering an account, you need to get an actual phone.

A lot of the bigger companies blacklist the virtual phone service providers.

The best deal out there that I have found is t-mobile.  You can buy the no-balance prepaid phones at lots of places costing roughly $30-$40.

Then fund via a prepaid T-Mobile card or credit card.

Their auto-refill plan is $3.00 / month and includes 30 texts or minutes.

If all you need is txt to verify things you can get much cheaper.  You can go 20 easily.  Look at sales of the week and I suggest going for android with a dual core.  On a deal you can get it for 20 most weeks.

You should try buying a number from Skype. I'm not sure how much they charge though, so check it out.

try k7.net., i'm registering right now to see how it work

Thanks dear but this website offers: numbers mainly for voicemail messages and faxes delivered directly to your computer.

I actually want a virtual number which directs the messages and calls received to my mobile number.  Sad

If your phone is rooted*, you can use Market helper: http://codekiem.com/2013/02/13/market-helper/. This will create a fake device version and you will be able to install it but this doesn't mean, you could use it. It is worth a try though.

* Don't do it unless you know what it is and what it does.

I'll check it out. Thanks  Smiley

If you go to digital goods you can buy google voice numbers for pretty cheap.  The advantage is cheap price.  The disadvantage is some places don't like google numbers.

I want first a free trial and then am willing to pay for the number. Thanks dear.  Smiley

Voxox.com

Thanks a lot. However, the app says that it isn't compatible with my Android version  Cry It does not work with Windows as well.

I checked out few sites which offer virtual phone numbers but their charges are quite high. Is there any reliable website that offers this service? Any free method to get a virtual mobile number?
