I don't see any changes in the imgur desktop site which is showing same as the previous site which has share links for forum as well on the options.

Can anyone check the visibility differs on the site?

Here's the site on my tablet; the option has already been removed.

Using this code.

It's best to choose the link that has the extension file name like ".jpeg" or ".png" or any other image extension names if there's a different format for other image sharing site.

Where do you see this option being removed ?

Only to check i just upload a photo and its shows me the BBcode option for forums for sharing.

Like what fish mentioned, the change only applies to public (i.e. not your uploaded) images.

Man, why would imgur actually do away with such a nifty feature? There are so many forums that are still not compatible with their direct links.

Also, you can click the share button on the left corner.
To make proper clarity on the format use this syntax.
Code:

Or click the image icon.

Thank you for clarifying. This will help avoid confusion.
Ive been wanting to attached a picture but I cant find the bbcode when using the share button in imgur. Thank you for this!

That's great to hear, I got confused as well with imgurs update.

Same image but different format.
1. https://i.imgur.com/s3vOUDs.jpg (BBCode ''forum'').
2. https://imgur.com/s3vOUDs (direct share).

The first URL can be displayed on the forum because the image format is correct, but not the second URL. Always make sure the image format that will be displayed on the forum is correct.

That works also, changing the format of the url is also a good option. I've also tried that, but I prefer my way since it demands less effort.

If the image format is not "jpg" then I'm sure they still can't display it on the forum because it's not supported.

I notice that there is some changes in imgur when I updated my App. Since they changed the site I don't see a BBcode option anymore. It just has HTML embed code.

So here's what I did to create my own, BBCode:

1. Upload and open the imgage in IMGUR.

2. Right click (Hold the image in mobile) and select "Open new Tab"

3. Use the URL in the address bar, but you have to add the picture extension.

4. Use the code [img] when placing in the forum
