How much money do you want to exchange? Think about buying limits if you use bitcoin ATMs as well as the fees. I've never used it, but the info I got is that they limit transactions to $8k on average in the US[1]. Another reference from an ATM company in Hong Kong[2].
Maybe you have to go to several ATMs if it's a large number of purchases.

physical cash or fiat currency

I am so sorry , what is the difference between them  , Do you mean Physical cash as gold or something.

There is no difference between them I think he just forgot to add if it's an online currency(like Debit/credit card/bank) and physical cash on hand like you said you have paper cash that is physical cash.

How about buying BTC at any available Bitcoin ATM near your area there is a limit buying BTC on ATMs that do not need KYC verification.

No ATM here (Macau)

This is, in my eyes, the best shop in HK.
Unit 51, 1/F, Admiralty Centre, 18 Harcourt Rd, Admiralty, Hong Kong

I don't know why you don't react to what I write, I bet in this thread I am the only one who actually has experience with buying crypto in Hong Kong. Anyway, in this shop they take usd and hkd, when I bought for 1k$ they didn't ask for KYC, don't know how it is when you buy higher.

According to coinatmradar there are no atm or exchanges in Macau, so HK is your only option if you don't find a person to help you.

What if you go to HK? Just found One Satoshi OTC service. https://www.onesatoshi.world.
If I check the process, they accept HKD cash and they have several branch offices according to their "Stores" page.

Actually I also found their offers around Macau through this article,
Can I still buy crypto if I’m in Macau? How Would I Do It?
To buy or sell cryptocurrency, you will now have to go through crypto OTC (over the counter) in Macau (One Satoshi Technology, situated at Ginza Plaza UG 1). This is not illegal.
but I'm not sure because the store address isn't mentioned on the official site and I think the offer has expired.
Note: I've never tried this service, so do some deep research and DWYOR.

So far you are the best answer.

Anyway ,if I can not get a smooth way In Macau!

I will go to HK. It seems easier there.

AFAIK  https://coinatmradar.com/country/96/bitcoin-atm-hong-kong/   is the best answer!

Snip~

Let me remind you about the risks associated with trading face to face with complete stranger

1. Risk of Scams such as receiving counterfeit currency.
2. Lack of dispute if there is conflict about terms of trade.
3. Privacy concern
4. Legal consequences if the other party has a history of crime.

Thanks for your reminds.
1.There is casino. it can check the counterfeit currency. fair to both of us.
2.We can exchange by small amounts each time
3.No KYC
4.Even if there are ,no KYC, no consequences. Cash from casino , bitcoin anyway ,it is decentralized.

And by cash, do you mean physical cash or fiat currency? If the latter, then I believe you can use this platform (Hashkey group) which was granted a license in Hong Kong a couple of days ago[1][2]

[1] https://www.hashkey.com/ (I couldn't access much, it's probably restricted for people outside of hong kong)

You are welcome. It is cash from casino.

You know Macau?

If I take the money to home I will be charged with 20% tax. and next time I came to Macau, it is difficult to take cash into it .

But bitcoin can be a temp and safe way.

Ok, what's your worried is necessary.

Anyway ,I am waiting for an answering.
I am not sure whether you are trying to evade of avoid tax but the place you should be searching for is Currency exchange.

I am now in Macau, I have cash HKD, a lot.

and want to get bitcoin (face to face is bettter).

I don't want KYC.

If you guys have ways please message me. the fee can be good for you.

It is not safe and convinient to take that lot cash to Chinese Mainland.

Thank you. Smiley
You are being so skeptical about trusting on exchanges which is not good. Because the way you are preferring is the way we all avoid. Because who knows what are you, what is your background, From where your money is coming. (i know i am being skeptical now) But. Your way will not be appreciated. You should buy BTC from some DEXs or CEXs.

Many members already shared the way of buying BTC with HKD and RMB. I hope you won't mind my words.

So you are talking about the income tax is SAR region? Where are you from originally? Main land China?

Just find a foreigner, give him to money to bring it out of Macau (travel together) and then receive it back. Pay him a small fee for that.
I will be in Hong Kong in September, but I guess that's too late since there is still 1 month.
Nobody will come extra to Macau to make this deal with you. You can only take the ferry or whatever and go to an exchange (they dont ask KYC) to buy the btc you want.

how to get bitcoin by RMB or HKD cash?

thank you.

In Hong Kong there are several exchange shops that buy/sell all kind of crypto for a very fair price.

3 months ago I used an exchange near Admiralty station (you can find it coinatmradar) and bought crypto for about 1000$ (they take us$ and HK$). Paid between 1-2% in fees, which was ok. At ATMs in the city you pay a much higher fee. Also there was no KYC in the shop, in case this concerns you.

Anyway, in Hong Kong you have so many opportunities to makes this, just google would have answered your question actually  Grin .

AFAIK, you can buy bitcoin with HKD on Binance via EPAY.

Epay now supports HKD, EUR and GBP fiat currencies, with SWIFT CODE, Wire Transfer, SEPA, Fasapay, PM and other E-currency deposit and withdraw services also supported.

Users can now login and deposit to Binance via their Epay account with zero fiat deposit fees for HKD.

Binance Opens Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) Fiat Gateway Through Epay

Or just in any other exchange where you can deposit HKD and buy BTC.
