I already answered this repeatedly.
with new bct update to become a full member need 100 merits and i still have only 10 merits. What is the best way to earn merits
You should be constructive on your posts. Having a useful post are one of the ways to earn merit. I have some guides to earn merits. If you have a constructive post and it didn't get merit, there are BCT members that are viewing some thread that are useful and they give merits.
●Be constructive!
●Make your post useful, not a shit post.
●Use correct grammar and use ENGLISH language if you are posting on big threads like Bitcoin discussion, economy, Meta and Alternative Cryptocurrencies.

Getting merit is not easy as what you think. Don't try to ask for merit because it will be a self-moderated topics, don't buy also a merit because buying merit isn't allowed nor prohibited.
Here's my searches answers for questions about merit.
You can earn merits by just simply posting constructive and useful posts. Enjoy on posting don't understand if you're post will be merited it will merited if your post deserves it.

We indeed must:
1. Write quality post, with real value and your own view, stand
2. Write usefull post, new info that helps someone
3. Write post with value that reminds us of something important or bring us closer to solution.

In general, if you post badly you cannot get a merit point, so the quality of post is very essential in the field of merit. Moreover, the most important thing is the " idea " so when your idea is correct and unique with a high quality of post then you can get a merit point.  But the problem that many users are complaining and say that they are posting with a high quality and they did not even take a point of merit. In fact,  everyone of them  should know that with  only high  quality of  post you will never get merit. so the behaviors should be improved and and the development of ideas is very necessary.

You can see my opinion here.

Very strange to hear advice from people Pro Merit which have themselves there is no nor one ! I too do not quite understand, always write meaningful posts and not spammy , but I guess that's not enough!  you need to create useful topic probably!  I would like to know the experience of getting a Merit , who by fair means got!
Maybe you're posting in the wrong section.   For instance, anywhere English is being written should be a no-fly zone for you, because you really don't know how to string those letters together.   You might think you're writing good posts, but let me disabuse you of that right now.  You're not.  Stick to the local boards and see if that helps.  Hopefully whatever one(s) you choose will have a roaming merit source available to appreciate your wonderful, constructive, fabulously-written posts.
Perhaps my English is not so good, I still try to improve it every day! communicating on the forum I raise my level of English and knowledge in crypto .

Me either is still not good enough in English, in one side I agree with you to improve English and raise crypto knowledge. However I think not only that, there is other important thing such as how the way to express an idea, opinion or point of view. This is not as easy as spoken, it is communication knowledge means how how to convey idea or opinion or information and can be received well by the other person. This is not only talk to obtain merit, more than that is respecting each other.
Keep your spirit to learn and improve, buddy...!! Wink

Well check the link for you to know more about merit or Smerit, And to sum it up you can get those by posting topics that are very relevant to the forum or you can sure reply to certain newbie question or helping them from their problems in providing the answers for their questions, And you just need to have your post on a good quality and do not spam in the forum and you can have a merit, But yeah there is no quick or fast way in getting it so good luck with it.

Honestly speaking, I really don't know how to get one because based on my experience, I find it hard to think what way is the best way to get a merit. However, I would like to share to you what mY friends suggested me to do.  "According to them,  inorder to get one, you must have constructive postings or good posts  in the forum." I did that so many times because I really wanted to get a merit so soon. Unfortunately, I haven't had one yet.  But I would really appreciate if you could  share your knowledge and other techniques regarding  this. Thanks!

Make quality posts that contribute something to the discussion and you may get awarded it by someone.

Post well and people will give it to you, spam and you won't get a thing.
In theory it is! But in fact it is not . people are afraid to give their smerit , as there were cases that painted the account, (this is the beginning ) now many hold for sale, already a lot of ads in the telegrams selling smerit (prices there from $ 10) and given that up to Fullmember need 90 merit-this means that many (90%) they just will not get!

Who is afraid to give merit? The only people who should be afraid are those trying to get away with giving it to their alts. If you're giving it to random people who make great posts then there's nothing to be worried about and the system will work as intended. And most people who are trying to sell merit via telegram are probably likely just opportunistic scammers but people who are genuinely selling it will likely be caught eventually and receive negative feedback so is it really worth it? Just try and earn your merit the honest way rather than trying to cheat the system because it will be counter-productive if/when you are caught.

It is really suppose to be that you do a constructive post to topic and contribute meaningfully, you get merited but in reality, we are not seeing merit even on some good post . It is more that beats the eyes.
