How long have you contacted the site operators? If you have waited quiet long, it seems that the site is scam and I'm pretty sure you won't get your money back or refunded. I don't even know what PTC is. Since it already happened, just take the consequences and learn from it, you need to be careful next time, check and recheck the details before you take a step.

I know that when I invest in bitcoin or other coins in crypto there is no refund going on. but you really need to wait for your coins to rise. That's the life crypto waiting for just waiting for the market to rise.

Do you know what PTC site is? and learn more about that site. If you find information that the site is a scam, then you need to sincere the amount of bitcoin that you have sent because it will be useless if you continue to contact PTC contact support. However, if you find information that PTC is a responsible site or legit site you can continue to keep calling contact support, usually they will answer via email.

There is no way to charge back, but I think you may write down the transaction hash and the name of that PTC site scammed you.
this must be a real lesson that fraud can occur anytime and anywhere, all who have experienced fraud must immediately report to the authorities, because the authorities already have a cyber team to track and hunt down cyber criminals, so we have to check more details go about suspicious sites. In developed countries like America and other developed countries crime through the internet like this can be quickly overcome ...

Hello Everyone,

I need your suggestion to get my money back. I have paid some BTC to a PTC site to add it to my balance but that PTC site is not giving any response. What should I do? How can I get my BTC money refunded?

Please give your advice.

Thank You
It seems that you have been consumed by a lot of tricks lately, hoping your money back might be very difficult but reporting your case to the authorities I think is one option, look for the site that you have entered, find proof of the transaction that you have done, and be thorough the site that you want to report, make this event a very valuable lesson ..

Never ever believe any PTC site.
There are some busturds who running these kind of sites and stealling money from the investors. Dont believe them.
And sorry for you, sorry to say you couldn't get back your BTC.
it's true you can't get your money back because PTC sites are sites that can't be trusted, and for the next time I hope you are careful and if you want to try for your money again try contacting your PTC server via email / telegram but usually no response

when you do not have a wallet that can be accessed by your coins like your bitcoin. I feel like I have a wallet for when I was able to sell my coins there was a change in the currency.

Try to contact the site administrator, write reviews or write an application for review.  All in your hands.

How about, you try to read when was the post made, write comments after you have read everything and dont just relentlessly spam the forum with your 1 liner nonsense.
This post was made almost 4 years ago, and why did you guys keeps on answering and digging topics from way back ago.

It is important that before we transfer coins, we ensure the legitimacy of a site, the project etc. We can post on forum to know if anyone is already dealing with the site and the experience with them so far. Transfer is suppose to be the last thing to do because once sent can't be refunded.

Things that could have happened are : either is a scam site or it has been sent to a wrong address.

I don't even know what a PTC site is.
NewLiberty and I have the same idea on what PTC stands for. Maybe OP invested to a faucet or HYIP where you can have a higher hashrate of earning (to earn faster of course) by depositing a certain amount of money. If my assumptions are right then sorry for him, because in this kind of cases, reclaiming money is nearly impossible.

@OP ~ Did you invested a lot? I hope not. Whether big or small, you don't have any choice but to forget it even how hard it is. Well, I guess you already learned a lesson from this so from now on you should become more meticulous in choosing the investment platform you're joining in or better stop it now and just engage yourself with crypto trading/hodling.

This was posted 2014 and you guys should stop posting as this was possible solved.
OP has never been online again since last year so there's no need to answer this anymore.
If the same issue happened to you guys, just contact the support of that PTC.

Your risk of using BTC is the easy loss of assets because the transaction is only done by both parties, my advice is that you never trust anyone or any site because it could be a fraud.

Well if this pay to click site is still existing today then this will serve a warning for the new comers to not easily to fall to this scamming activity. They will just pretend to be a free Bitcoin at first but for you to get easy free huge Bitcoin rewards you will now be convince of investing to this site in which the scam will start. Do not put your money in this site without reviewing well their project as most of these site are scam.

There are so many processes you want to happen. if you do not have a wallet like yours. You can do it convert it to the dollar to make it completely redeemable. but I said it's a long process.

Try to contact them, if no response for more than a week, it means you won't get your money back because that ptc site was scam. Then post your tx id on its forum to tell other members that the site going to scam.

I wonder how much good that will do.  Are there any PTC sites that are not scams?
I remember goofing off with some of these PTC faucets for a while.  They all seem so very dodgy.

This ptc thing does it still give any profits? I though faucets sites are mostly waste of time where you can only earn a couple of sats for doing captcha or thing. But i've never tried this PTC sites cause I know investing on them is such a huge risk and have a huge chance of being a scam.

you should be careful in sending btc to any unknown site because some people say this diforum do not know at all what is PTC site whether it is the same stock exchange site or wallet including I also do not know what is PTC site and just heard about the site but usually in a site there is a service for a mistake you can try just ask.

It is clearly a risk, and if you want to keep using Bitcoin you should learn some basic about how it work.

There is no way to return it once its sent and confirmed into blockchain. Sorry.
The only left option is to get it back from recipient, by legal or other means.

You won't be able to get your money back unless you're able to contact the people/person you paid the Bitcoin to. Once the transaction is put through the Blockchain, it is irreversible... Good-luck trying to get hold of those people though. Smiley

That's an interesting scam:

1. Get people to earn some dust by clicking on ads.
2. Require them to send money in order to withdraw the dust.
3. Keep all the money.

Which site did you send money to?

LOL they scam you twice. Once by paying you sub 3rd world country rates for helping them earn advertising revenue then steal from you when you want to withdraw your "earnings"

it's better to re check the details of any site before paying now in your case as you have already been charged by PTC site now u better contact the PTC site first and then ask bitcoin to re locate your transaction.

If they monitor the forum at all, they will likely monitor the scam accusations page as many businesses do in order to monitor their reputation. If you open a scam accusation and they see it they could potentially respond and attempt to resolve the issue.

I do have a bit of a feeling that the site was a scam as updating a user's balance generally should be automated and if it is not updating then it probably does not have any intention of giving him credit/any services he has paid for

I don't know much about ptc. So far, in my opinion Neobux and clicksense are the best and trusted. They had thousands active members.

It probably does not help after the fact, but you should try to find out how to contact the site operators before you send any funds. I don't even know what a PTC site is.

A "whois" look-up is  a start, but scammers will often use private registration.
