Um, I'm totally at a loss here as I neither get your exact problem nor your question  Undecided
What is your native language? Maybe it would help if you'd ask your question in the local forum Smiley

Lol, I'm not very good in English, but I never thought I was that bad.
For example this airdrop, using a docs.google, like many airdrops do (but not all of them) : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd_gStvrOb8RjBP0lMNGL4Yq7A_HqMcTgWN2jF_Jbe39bJw2g/viewform
You fill out the form, then it's over, you get tokens for that particular airdrop, but when there is a referral program, how to do you share the form? what referral link do you share ? We get no referral links to share. Yet, i still see this airdrop being shared by airdrop channels, so it has to have a referral system. How do we get it ? I can't just share the url adresse like i've just done for the one above (how will the company airdroping its tokens know it's me who shared the link?)

What Dreykku is likely referring to is this:  Some of the Airdrop Google forms ask you to manually enter the referrer's handle, other times it is automatically entered. He wants to know how you get this automated (so you don't have the filler 'forgetting' to credit you).
In the Form URL he provided above, for example, you'll notice that it ends with .../viewform which means that it is a manual entry. The automated entry forms always have an addition to this that usually consists of a string of numbers then the referrer's code (e.g., .../viewform?entry.[1234567890]=[ReferrerCode] or similar).

I've wondered about this myself. is it possible to get the 'number string' if you're not the creator?
Can anyone enlighten us further???

I have participated in a good few Airdrops and see what you mean about there being no referral link sometimes yet other people/pages are still promoting it.

I could be wrong here, but maybe some of these start-ups ICO's are relying on you to see the (potential) value or use case in their token, and in doing so are hopeful that you would promote them on merit rather than reward? Personally speaking, if i thought something looked great i wouldn't have a problem sharing it if i thought it was worthy of it.

Maybe i'm old fashioned, but i don't think everything should be attached to monetary value?  Undecided

Alright, I guess they sometimes have special ref links that we cannot get ourselves, or they share a link that won't remunerate them. I just never really thought about those possibilities. Thanks guys.

It means it has no referral program as well?
A referral system always needs to be implemented by the project and has nothing to do with google spreadsheets or any thread. There are also some airdrop pages that cooperate with some projects and use a referral system, but there is no "global implementation" of referral systems.

well... I read at its quite short bounty thread and there is no mention about referral program
did you find anything from the bounty or ANN thread that makes you believe otherwise?

can you give us a real example of url link or referring site? how can you tell the airdrop channels is using referral system?
if they do, then most likely it's a closed referral program with pre-selected participants
or simply they get fixed payment (from the project) for spreading news and referring people to sign up
the project can tell its referrer by the traffic's origin (HTTP referer) or reading the cookie set by the referring website
if it's an open referral program, then usually each referrer gets a special referral link to use

Alright then it means that when we don't have an explicit referral link given to us, there is none (or not available for everyone, which is the same for me). What bout this one for example : https://airdrops.io/traderiser/
It means it has no referral program as well ?

In most of the cases, airdrops with referral program comes in different structure:

Sample 1: Participants have to invite users in the Telegram group (of that airdrop). Invite people and shows proof to the one who will be assigned to check your credentials. There are different ways to show proofs so it depends on the instruction.

Sample 2: Participants will fill up the form directly at the website and not on the Google form as obviously no codes can be given here. In website registration, there should be a kind of referral code at the end.

Now to minimize our works here, would you mind telling us here what airdrop you are talking about that have a referral program but no way to get a referral link?

Well, for example the one I've linked above (https://airdrops.io/umc/) But in general, every single airdrop using docs.google I've come across until now (talking about those NOT having a manual referral system inside the form itself, like adding the name of its referrers manually). Obviously, right now, I have a hard time finding one that's still up and corresponding to that criteria. But I've seen a lot of them. I sometimes try to find a referral link everywhere on the website but I can't find any (I know some airdrops don't have referral programs, but still, it happens way too often to be the only reason), so I thought there would a manipulation to do with the docs.google to share a form automatically with its referral link inside or something like that.

Hi,

Once we've done an airdrop, we often have an explicit referral link they give us to share, but sometimes they don't give us anything, especially for the airdrops via docs.google, once we've filled out everything we have no links to share, even though people are still sharing this airdrop via a ref link. How did they get it ? (and nothing on our email box either).
It also happens for airdrops via their own websites, and it even happens on telegram bot sometimes (quite rare though), it doesn't give us any link, yet the airdrop is being shared online... how ?

If i give the address from the docs.google form, then I'd share the ref link of the guy who shared the airdrop before me and that I used myself, don't I? So i can't do that either.

Thank you for your help.
