Best option is to buy BTC and then transfer those to BTC-e if you planning to speculate on alt currencies.

Use your brain.
If btc-e has such a low price for btc is ONLY because it is difficult to fund USD in your account.

Otherwise, it would be the same price as mt.gox.

If you compare the prices with fees + delay + hassle, mt.gox is still cheaper that btc-e.

never tried, but if you can do it before everyone else does you will pick up cheaper coins... Note Bitstamp is much lower than gox now, why not send there?

i've done this 2x in the last 2 days and so far smooth sailing! much better than the one week coinbase wait period. being locked in for a week of BTC/USD fluctuations without having access to it is crazy1 only downside is the moneypak is capped at $500 USD. 4.95 fee = 1%

i bought a greendot moneypak from a local drugstore and then used localbitcoins.com to find someone who accepted it as payment. total time took ~1 hour. the only fee was the moneypak reload fee which was $4.95 and the exchange rate of USD/BTC the seller wanted

Excellent method. I will try it also.

I guess the easiest way to send USD to BTC-E from Canada would be via international wire. You can get the information on where to send the funds by using the deposit option in your BTC-E account. Your bank will charge you about ~15-20$ in fees + CAN-->USD conversion and BTC-E add another 1% min:$20 so it's only a good option if you have a large sum to deposit.

Use coinbase to link your bank account, then change btc for usd in btce

Thanks but I want to get USD in btc-e then buy btc from within btc-e

You would think that there would be happy people to sell btc-e usd codes and get money out without fees but I can't find anyone to trade with yet.

If you're only dealing with BTC I wouldn't bother with BTC-E.

Can you get dwolla in Canada?

If you can, setup dwolla. Transfer money to Dwolla, then transfer money to CampBX.

The only hold up is that CampBX has a 31 day holding window. I believe you can request to have the hold removed by applying for a verified account.

Not sure they have moneypak in my area.
Are you looking to speculate with just BTC? or other Altcoins?

You can always buy BTC 10 different ways and then send the BTC to BTC-E.

I want want btc both to trade and buy mining equipment. Btce-e has good prices for buying and trading but I can not find a way to fund usd into btc-e.

Hi,

Well I have tried to offer to buy BTC-e Codes in the Currency Exchange sub forum (no success).

I have tried to deposit USD in BTC-e looking at all the available deposit methods they list (ex. Okpay Perfect Money etc.) none seem to work without using exchangers and they charge crazy fees and don't even think can be done from my location.

Can anyone help with the cheapest and most efficient method to get USD into BTC-e?

I am located in Canada.
