It's not possible to identify if bitcoin address generated on a specific exchanger since it's done from a node server like yours, mine or other persons.
But if an exchanger include comment (Like sent from: EXCHANGER.COM) on any transaction, there a possibility to track it.

Basically... it isn't anonymous... and it wasn't really designed to be. At best it is "pseudo-anonymous".Because i need defend if bitcoin is really anonymous...
I hope for your sake that your graduation is not dependent on successfully arguing that "Bitcoin is anonymous"... Because if it is, you're in trouble

I don't think we have any way of telling which address belongs to what wallet. Simply for the reason of that there are no particular set of combinations of letters and numbers being linked to a wallet provider, whether you have created a Bitcoin wallet on Coinbase or Electrum you won't be able to differentiate the two addresses whether it came from Coinbase or in Electrum. It is not like they are giving us a distinct Vanity Address which we can link to their wallet. Also what is the reason why you need to link a wallet address in the first place? Because I haven't seen any use for doing so.

I was wondering it myself, since wallet are made in combination of numbers to ensure that your wallet is uniques from others as well, but maybe OP is looking for a way if he or she can have customised wallet number or ID, but so far I dont see any wallet provider that give such things until now.
If the address is from an exchange then you could do some digging and eventually link it to the exchange hot wallet, otherwise (blockchain.info, hardware wallets, desktop wallets etc.), no.

Is it possible for me to know the origin of a specific btc address. Is there any way to figure out if a specific btc address was created on blockchain.info, coinspayments.net, coinbase etc. ?
