How to import private key of your wallet via MULTIBIT?

You can import keys into multibit classic, yes. Sorry, but when you wrote "latest" I assumed MBHD.

You need to put them into a text file and open that file with multibit. Its under Tools -> Import private keys.

If you just want to use an old multibit wallet you can just open the .wallet file with File -> Open Wallet.

Which version are you using exactly?

The website suggests you send yourself your coins to the new address if you can. Just in case

Im confused. How would that help import a private key into the wallet?

You can not import private keys into multibit HD.
