Additional Emoticons for Bitcointalk
Weeks ago, there is user made that thread: Emoji: we make a topic on the Bitcointalk beautiful
However, forum is not a social media platforms, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and it should be maintained as its original purposes when it was created years ago: for bitcoin discussions, and then over time expanding to other dicussions, includes altcoins. It is important to help forum as place for discussions, not for social media marketting or for kids.
Using basic emojis is more than enough.

There is no professors in universities would like to see dozens of emojis in Power point presentation of thesis from their students, or from post-graduate/ doc/ post-doc learners
In all seriousness I'm on board with the majority of users here, and I hate threads which get plastered in emojis. What ever happened to just the cheeky little wink now, and again? I'll admit that some emojis are fine at times as long as they're not over done. However, just go look at the altcoin announcement thread, and you'll likely run into a few threads which have 10+ emojis in the title which is just excessive, and makes it look unprofessional.
Please don't make this forum great again!

I've just reported a spammer promoting his services with a hundred emojis, there were more than letters in that post. We already have the token board looking like a kindergarten manual, is more than enough.

Putting emojis in the index title line is handy for me. It shows me which threads aren't worth opening, so i can look for higher quality threads to award with merits.
haha why? Emojis in title = lower value threads?

You can do this in two ways:

 1. type ":" ";" and start typing the name of an emoji. example ---> adding D will make this Cheesy, adding ( will make this Sad,adding o will make this Shocked
 2. Copy and paste from sites: emojis will vary depending on your operating system.
There are some chrome additions that make this easy
How about inserting an image?

You can insert the image, which are available online. If you create some image, then you should upload that image on some plate-from like Facebook, twitter ,blog ,linkedin or any other online platform or Google drive etc.
After that you open that image and right click with mouse,There you will get the option of "copy image location" and you copy that and click this button an paste the location between that.

I've seen a lot of topics like this but I don't know how to do it.
In my case if I need any then I copy the others.
Click quote next to the title and you will see the text, copy it and the use it.
Or just highlight it > Right click > Copy/paste on subject line.

  • OP, you can find everything on "Emojipedia".
    - Not everything works (I added few on the subject line).
  • You won't be able to see some of the emojis on preview window/mode.

Thank you very much for the link!

Quoting someone in order to see how someone did a certain formatting is generally a good idea. In this case though, it wouldn't help as the icon in the subject isn't part of the quotation Smiley
If you want to change it, simply select one in the drop-down:
