I have created altcoin from Bitcoin source code. I would like to list this, but I would like to know the specific steps. Please give me some sources of information.

If you want to list your project in any decentralized exchange then you need to contact the respective exchange where you want to list and also you will be charged fee for listing and importantly listing happens only if your project meet the exchange's criteria for listing in general trading volume.

You had better get connected with support team of an exchange you want your token to be listed. Every exchange has its rules, they will check if you meet all requirements and also you will have to pay a fee.
So that your token will be successful, you had batter run a marketing campaign such as advertisement and build a loyal community.

So you have your own coin and want to list it on the market ? It's easy, you just need to contact the exchange where your coins want to be listed, and pay a fee after which your coins will be traded there. But the problem is, can your coins have fans?

These days unless you got deep deep pockets you are not going to get it listed anywhere. Back in 2013-2014 people were taking clones of the Bitcoin and Litecoin source code and made their own similar alts and then these coins quickly got a bunch of pools, miners and in a few days got a free listing on some high volume exchanges.

Now people rarely clone the Bitcoin source code because there is way too much sha256 hash power out there and it would get instamined very quickly. And even if you got decent hash power out of it you wouldn’t get listed it anywhere until you paid exchanges in the 5 figure range.

For a much better and accurate response, I suggest contacting your preferred exchange. Specific steps might now be changed over time.

They should provide you with all the information you need regarding listing including the cost.
