What you posted is really informative.  Just a suggestion, kindly just rephrase the title and make it something like "Introduction to Bounty Campaign" or the like.

The attitude of making bitcointalk a money-making site is high discouraged by the community.  Hence, by not inviting the thought that you are encouraging people to become bounty spammers, then this post is really helpful to the newbies.

The only solution is theymos himself with an announcement that bounty will not be allowed here. The forum may lose 60% user within overnight but it will look better. At least, it will look like the same it was back in the day when no bounty was there.

An all caps title - a rehash of constantly posted information - all this leads to the poster being ignored, so he has been.

Please guys - can we have some intersting discussions for a change. We don't want to be constantly seeing the same old stuff reposted, especially when it pushes bounty spamming, which is exploiting the work of the established members here.

<...>Thanks for elaborating your opinion which is highly warming because it explains some visible point I might have left out and am certain other viewers will take note of these observations you have shared and not misuse the knowledge am trying to put out there. <...>
Unfortunately, every day we are seeing in the Meta section cases of people wondering why they have been banned from the site, losing in the event whatever progress they may have made on their account. This is often related to the call for money effect, with no respect for the “ecosystem” that constitutes the forum.
Rules are likely not to be read until it’s too late, quality of content is not even thought of while trying to milk the cow, and as a result, not only do the often get banned, but they drive the forum to steepen the requirements for all (introduction of the Merit System, later enhancement of the Merit System, and whatever is in store for future tweaks on rules).

People are entitles to try to make some side cash here it they wish, but it should be done in a manner that does not overkill the forum with unsubstantial spam.

I do not understand this part it has the same message link for every ranks. There could be a better way to present the ranking requirements.

First and foremost, it is in your interest to know that the more your ranking rises the greater opportunity you get at participating and utilising your full potential of the platform.
The various ranking are as follow;
* BRAND NEW - A new account that hasn't involve in any activity.
* NEWBIE - A new account user/ a person who has engaged in a few activities on the site.
* JUNIOR MEMBER - This ranking is acquired after a "newbie" have engaged in thirty(30) activities or more. At this stage, you are eligible to participate in most bounties on the platform and earn accordingly.
* MEMBER - view (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.28856522)
* FULL MEMBER - view (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.28856522)
* SENIOR MEMBER - view (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.28856522)
* HERO MEMBER - view (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.28856522)
* LEGENDARY - view (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.28856522)

Anyway, you are right for users here could earn from bounty hunting though some of the bounty hunters are not abiding rules in the forum. Yet, bounty hunters has played a lot of rules in promoting the ICO projects. Thus, will relatively help the project to grow and help get the attention of the prospect investor or contributor in this forum and even in the social media.

Well, this thread should stipulate first to read all the rules in the forum before joining any bounty hunting for this will add up the current problems of the forum regarding with the high volume of posts that are relatively shit posts just to comply bounty requirements of number of posts per week to get stakes.

The Junior Member description is now wrong, since in addition to reaching an Activity of 30, you need to earn at least 1 merit. This second aspect is the more difficult to obtain, and requires shifting old habits of posting whatever to gain activity, to posting decent content to be a candidate to receive merit in the process.

Beside it all, Bitcointalk should not be seen as a milking cow for making money, but as a place of engaging into conversations and generating/reading content where, as a benefit, some get to earn some income of some sort if joining a campaign. Nevertheless, if this is the sole purpose, then chances are that the posts created by the user will deem little to no value, be considered spam, and eventually get the user banned for good. There needs to be an equilibrium between complying with the campaigns requirements and the generated content.

Thanks for elaborating your opinion which is highly warming because it explains some visible point I might have left out and am certain other viewers will take note of these observations you have shared and not misuse the knowledge am trying to put out there. Thanks

This happens to be a forum(an area/avenue for discussion), not some money making machine or a Central Bank,you really shouldn't be educating one on how to make money on the forum but how to be useful, contribute and assist others...in the process of doing all this definitely the money will come, it always comes last

You definitely wouldn't go far this way, hence no merits and invariably make no money through here

"BITCOINTALK IS A FORUM"- agreed. For this reason alone, you have agreed that discussions like the thread above is absolutely valid because it raised awareness concerning ranking system and how participating in various credible programmes can benefit others. I understand you are trying to prove the general purpose of bitcointalk but it is unfair to not explore every area of the forum. Thanks

The "warning" is not enough and the post should include much more with the notes of how easy it to get banned for copy pasting , spamming and that on has to produce quality content to be able to  wear any signature. Also warning about phishing would have to be included.

Hello Dude. I think threads like this will only invite spammers. This kind of thing will only make many users skip their first step in this forum.

The people will be blinded by greed. I have seen some users just in a hurry to join the bounty program regardless of the main rules and guidelines to stay in this forum, they just thought about "making money".

I say this after many people say that they have been banned from this forum in some of the Telegram channels that I follow. Very sad, most of them are those who have become Full Members and higher ranks. They even said did not know about the rules from this forum.

Hi Dude
First and foremost, viewers discretion is applicable to this post as stated under "WARNING" at the bottom
Also, I did encourage extensive research on bounties that fail to follow rules guiding the platform so as not to get suspended, feel free to go over the article again. Thanks

First - this is a topic meant for beginners and help forum since that is where the targeted audience are mostly.

Second - This will drive many new users in the wrong direction since it doesn't include the major essence of the this forum which is to study, learn, grow and be of good assistance not just about making money.

Third - you should include links and warnings if you are going to show new users on how to make money as to avoid loss

Thanks for the tip which I will definitely improve on.
Also if you read through my first paragraph, you will notice the statement in bracket which says "posting unique article via proper research", regarding your SECOND paragraph in quote. Thanks

Looks like just another bounty hunter without merit !

Bitcointalk is primarily there to exchange and collect information about Bitcoin aund crypto!
To help other users if you have any problems with crypto-related stuff and do not know any further!

You also might want to post this on Beginners & Help forum. You will get  broader audience there. Also, I suggest you to add link to topics related to how to find a good non-scam bounty campaign if you want to have a comprehensive guide. Like give us examples of what a good bounty campaign looks like and etc.
