Not to mention that anyone who thinks storing or letting interact "a lot of money/coins" on a nulled exchange script is totally ridiculous and extremely stupid.

Most if not all exchange script that are sold are already garbage, but no, you only want nulled scripts... 101 on how to lose all your funds...

I've bought some P2P exchange scripts in the past but they're heavily outdated. (they were already when i bought them.), and the code in general wasn't really useable.

Really, you should make your own from scratch in most case, which can be very pricey if you want it done right. you'll either need to give someone a good equity share or probably over five figures for such a project.

I don't believe that that's good practice. The person selling that script has 20 sales, and never updated his script. (Despite envato stating that the quality is checked and that it has future updates.)

If you actually were to run a successful website on that script, the person who created it really has a lot of incentive to push a malicious update. I really doubt envato checks every line of code before they let a publisher update.

At first never use nulled script because usually they are modified that way to steal some data from you while offering script for free, so if you use nulled script, your business is under huge risk. On another hand, for established scripts you can use website codecanyon which is under the ownership of envato marketplace. I'd say you are looking like this in the wrong way. It's probably due to the large amounts of exchange scripts and exchanges being sold in crypto nowadays, and you're looking at exchanges as a simple venture where money will roll in after some basic development work is done.

Not like this at all, a shapeshift type exchange will require you to have multiple crypto wallets (for each coin), and then hot wallets for all of them, and you'll need a very skilled developer who can create auto-payment scripts for it to work.

As for budgets, I'd recommend a minimum amount of 100,000 USD. Development and security costs would be a min of 50,000 and then rest can be on marketing.

I've created several sites in the past, like a proof of concept mixer, and i'm currently helping an other person to setup a small non-automated exchange (basically, a webpage that fetches the latest exchange rates of several coins, adds a profit margin and lets people create orders for these tradepairs, while the orders themselfs are filled manually).

Based on these experiences, i can tell you that a site like shapeshift isn't just slapping a nulled script on a shared host and let the money roll in...

You'll need a way to keep your hot wallets safe while still being able to generate and broadcast transactions... This alone is quite a setup, let alone creating a good user interface, or creating the algorithm that needs to be created to make sure you never sell at a loss. I didn't even talk about encryption, data retention, logging, letters of guarantee, KYC...

There might be legit scripts out there, but i'd defenately urge you to go with an official script that's community vetted...

Exchanges are actual businesses, and they need to be run as such... Meaning, you'll need a good dev, or purchase a high quality script from a good dev. You'll need dedicated hosting, licences, a company, support staff (to help you customers while you are sleeping or taking a couple days off)... If you start an anonymous exchange on yourself with a cheap or free script, without a licence, i can pretty much guarantee you'll be hacked in a matter of months, and if not you'll probably fail anyways or you'll be shut down by your governement sooner or later.

I have no idea how much money in needed, but in a business perspective, if you want a top class website that can compete with the best, then you have to shell out tons of money here, probably in the range of six digits (just to be in the safe side).

I wouldn't advise like ready made script out there, you don't know because they can have some back door or exploits that can breach your services, if you want to hire someone then you can post it here.

If you're planning on running a decent service then you're going to need to hire competitive developers, unless you want something that's quite slow and barely working. Also, buying a script online and running in right off the bat is usually not a great idea. I suggest looking for developers in your local area if you want potentially better rates, and developers that you actually can meet up and talk to in person.

AS in title, i am interested into making website similar to exchange but for lot less coins...I gathered in my portfolio a lot of coins, main are BTC LTC ETH and XRP and also i have Paypal Skrill and Neteller funds and i want to make workable website that people can exchange to Paypal, Skrill, Neteller..
Can someone refers me maybe there is like nulled script or something etc? maybe this is wrong section, but if someone can guide me let me know.

If not, what is approx payment for this website to be developed? I guess i should post on upwork and freelancer for this?
