I mine only Neoscrypt/Equihash coins on 1080, equihash often most profitable, but neoscrypt sometimes jumping higher

Hi,
I am new to mining and I am currently using Awesome miner with miningpoolhub. I am getting only 12$/day with my 8 GTX 1080s after overclocking the GPUs. Can anyone suggest which miner and mining pool combination should I use so as to maximize my profit? Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks

With 1080s, I would recommend ETH, and I personally use Nanopool.

On AM are you profit switching? Or single mining an Algo?

What is your hashrates?

Do you do that yourself? I mine ZEC with 1080.

Go with ZCash directly or try Nicehash's equihash pool.

Do not mine ETH with your 1080's its a waste of energy and right now it'd be like pissing into a fan...

ETH is the worst coin to mine with 1080's. Mining LUX is almost twice as profitable.

Mining ZEC is also more profitable than mining ETH with a 1080.

$12 per day is pretty bad for eight 1080 Ti's. Mining LUX you would make double before power.

You might want to try switching out your HDD for an SSD. I've read some conflicting things... on reddit people say that SDD does not help mining... but all the AVG/NVIDIA blogs say that switching to an SSD boosts GPU performance.

If you have a spare SSD, you could try and see what happens. I know that a hard drive does little when mining, but maybe it boosts performance indirectly, like speeding up other passive processes so your rig can be more dedicated to mining.

You can try disabling superfetch and prefetch by going to control panel -> system and security -> administrative tools -> services -> then disabling both in the click-down menu. Disable these in the registry too! (but this is only for Windows)

hope these help!
