Nanominer on xubuntu is working perfectly while kawpow mining. But it is better to mine ETH on R9 290/390. They give 28-29 mh/s on Ethash. I'm using three R9 290, 86,4 mh/s, 750 watts Rig consumption. Everything in the article here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=3313. They eat 100 w more on kawpow algo.

Install windows 10 pro and the latest driver for this video card. Everything should work fine.
I had problems on Windows 8.1 with AMD video cards, so I use either Win 10 or Linux OS for mining (hive, etc.)
AMD R9 390 consumes a lot of electricity and mining on it is not very profitable right now.

The R9 390 can do around 16 - 17 mh on kawpow. Not bad for that old card.
I sold these video cards a year and a half ago. A farm of 4xR390 video cards consumed 900 watts and generated a lot of heat.
If everything suits you, then change the operating system and your problem should be solved.
The R380 had very good video cards from the AMD R300 series. But I also sold them a long time ago and switched to RX 480

Try TeamRedMiner. Works for my 5700XT and my 580

You read the first post or the readme from Teamredminer?
Here is a reminder:

GPUs supported and tested:
Navi - RX 5700(XT)/5600(XT)/5500(XT) for kawpow/ethash/nimiq only.
Vega - RX Vega 64/56, Vega FE, Radeon VII (Vega 2)
Polaris - RX 580/480/570/470/560/460/550

With WildRIG/0.25.2 i get an "error CL_BUILD_PROGRAMM_FAILURE when calling cl BuildProgram"
Update your drivers to at least for something like 18.3.4, old Crimson drivers are not supported.

Hello Guys,  please let me know if there is any way to mine KAWPOW algo with AMD R9 390.

It is like every other GPU? Is something special with R9 390? I don´t think so, so download miner, configurate it and start.

Or what is the problem?
