Guide on How to Mine on the SQRL Acorn - Zen Protocol (Standalone Miner, Not GPU accelerator)
This is not the official SQRL Miner / GPU assist.

1. Download Driver: http://www.squirrelsresearch.com/get-started-acorn/
a. You will see it in your device manager

2. Get a Zen Wallet: https://docs.zenprotocol.com/zen-wallet
a. Accessing the Web Wallet: https://wallet.zp.io/

3. Pick a Pool:
a. https://www.zenprotocolpool.com/

4. Download Miner:
a. https://thefpgaforum.com/threads/alpha-zen-protocol-215-acorn-miner-solo.57/

5. Install Miner and then completely shut off your computer.
a. Pull out plug, all lights must turn off.

6. Edit the bat file:
a. “AcornMiner.exe us.zenprotocolpool.com 8811 zen1qp8f64tkunyuxpwssa5m7hzge994dazlz23jpsuumr2ldhchuwpjscgegeg(Your Wallet Address) AcornMiner(Device Name) [email protected](Your Email) 200”

7. Run Miner and adjust core with + , - .
a. I was stable at 250MHz for the Acorn CLE 101, Average Hash 187.50MH/s
b. I was stable at 330MHz for the Acorn CLE 215, Average Hash 330MH/s
c. Don’t own the Acorn CLE 215+ (reading the forums, stable at 330MHz, Average Hash 330MH/s)

8. Notes:
a. Every Acorn is different and may get different results. (Silicon lottery, not all acorns are created equal.)
b. Acorns can run at a max of 125C before thermal shut down, and 110C for an extended period of time. (Personally keep it below 100C just to be safe.)

Consumes only 5-10 Watts.
Earning about $0.04-$0.06 a day. (As of 12/16/2018)
