I have moved btc from mtgox to my QT wallet on home pc.  Seemed to work just fine without checking any of the green, open, or fee options.

Thanks guys, like the arbitrage idea... MtGox has 2 methods for withdraw

1. Use Green address
2.Use open address  that requires 6 confirmations.

Can you explain how these work?

Thanks again!

I would even recommend not have all your bitcoins in just one exchanger, and also not to have all your virtual wealth in one single virtual currency. Diversify those two things and you will safer, and incidentally able to do arbitrage ;-)

Get your receiving address.

Log in to MtGox / Funding Options / Withdraw Funds

No more than 100BTC per 24 hours if unverified.
