I think simply send from address A to address B. I done with this qt. I simply rename to wallet.dat when I use I use them.

Multiple wallet I think is a nice feature. I keep hearing good things about multibit. Didn't tried this wallet yet.

Be sure to make a backup before to manage your btc.

There is no way to move bitcoins from one address to another without going through the block chain.

An alternative would be to move the address from wallet A to wallet B. Export it from wallet A and import it into wallet B. Make sure to delete it from wallet A afterward.

Yeah multibit has a " new wallet " button that then gives you another .dat file that can contain a separate load of addresses

i want to use this so i can feed my miners in to one wallet and then use another wallet for profiting on exchange rates keeping the two separate for easier monitoring

thanks for reply by the way

Simply send the bitcoins from wallet A to an address in wallet B. It is the same as sending them to any address.

On the other hand, do you really mean "wallet", or do you mean "address"? I've never heard of having two wallets on the same computer using multibit, though I suppose it is possible. If both addresses are in the same wallet then there is normally no reason to send bitcoins from one to the other.

My multibit client contains 2 wallets, wallet A and wallet B

so can i safely send some of my btc from wallet A to wallet B within the same client or should i send the coins to be moved to a completely different wallet/client first
