If you're mining BTC you can and should lower the memory clock to decrease power consumption and increase hashing speed (also depends on the GPU clock, and the ratio of the two clocks).

If you're mining scrypt coins you shouldn't underclock the memory because it will affect your hashing speed negatively (scrypt is very memory-heavy).

in fact i start mining for bitcoin but i see it's verry low profit
so i swith to scrypt based and i have also same about 350 KH/S
the miner is cgminer 3.7.2

but i have question , if i lower the mem clock to 300 , i can increase the GPU clock or i keep it default , 750 ?

thank you

By the intensity of 18 I was assuming he is mining scrypt and with either cgminer or bfgminer, but that's just a guess from his post!

Yeah, seems high to me but maybe it depends on the miner (I don't thing I ever used intensity higher than 12(?) but that was BTC mining).

But I think he's mining BTC or some other SHA256-based coin:

and i get only 350 MH/S

I won't be able to recommend any miner* settings because I have stopped mining long ago and no longer remember, but you should be able to get at least 900 MHz on GPU without overvolting and you should underclock the memory to 250-300 MHz, you probably won't be able to have the card run faster than 395-410 MH/s and stay stable 24/7 without increasing the voltage.

I hope you are aware that you won't be able to make any profit by mining BTC with GPUs (it would be much more prudent to mine scrypt-based coins with them).

*you could also mention which miner you're using

MSI Afterburner.

I will look at my settings at home if I remember, but I run stable at 405ish with tweaks and basic  mem overclock in afterburner no voltage change or card flashing.

dears ,
i have sapphire hd 5850 vapor X 2GB
i run it with intensity 18
-w 256
shaders 1600
GPU clock 750
mem clock 1000
and default voltage
and i get only 350 MH/S
can any one recommend and over clock setting or bios version to can have at least more then 400 MH/S ?
