I don't think it's smth. extraordinary. If you can earn some money here, why not use such an opportunity? Bounty hunters are not such a big problem for the forum. Any person can be a spammer.
Yeah, people are using opportunity to earn money. And they are trying to maximize earnings in all possible ways, no matter it's legit way or no. But as I said in my post above, it's consequences. The problem is bounty managers who aren't doing their job properly as I already said.
I don't agree that bounty hunters aren't isn't a big problem for this forum. Yes, not all of them are spammers. But it's obvious that most of spammers here are bounty hunters.
Anyway, I think we are going out off this topic with this conversation Wink

Well spotted. Actually, both numbers are technically correct, but the former (12,45%) takes into consideration all historical posts while your approach (35,5%) recent posts. The latter is a better approximation to determining the quota of posts made in the Bounty section, since the former takes into consideration all the posts made even prior to the existence of bounties.

If I grab the Tardis and go back in time a bit, the readings at roungly one month intervals for the most recent six months are:
Code:
Date	        B(Altcoin)	Total Forum	% Total	Inc. B(Alt.)   	Inc. Forum	    % Inc Total
17/10/2018 5.849.172 46.941.966 12,46% 401.770         1.181.929     33,99%
16/09/2018 5.447.402 45.760.037 11,90% 453.477         1.408.738     32,19%
20/08/2018 4.993.925 44.351.299 11,26% 536.771         1.770.230     30,32%
21/07/2018 4.457.154 42.581.069 10,47% 558.150         2.023.712     27,58%
21/06/2018 3.899.004 40.557.357 9,61% 674.254         2.560.481     26,33%
21/05/2018 3.224.750 37.996.876 8,49%
The Incremental (Inc.) columns are derived comparing one month to the previous one.

It seems that the percentage of posts in the Bounties (Altcoin) child board are even gaining terrain over time, having a larger share of recent posts. It still surprises me that the section still increases. I guess that the social reporting does come free on any merit requirement, and therefore may be getting an increase over time.

In case you are SERIOUSLY worried about the integrity of the forum, only 12.45% of the total posts in the forum are in the Bounties (Altcoins) sub-forum (5841957 posts in Bounties (Altcoins) out of total 46921441).

Yeah, too bad that you forgot a small detail, the section is just one year old.
And now the numbers stand like this.

1) 5841957  46921441
2) 5847831  46937876

That's an increase of 5,847 vs 16435
So in reality, as we speak bounties actually make 35.5% of all the posts.

I don't think that many bounty hunters are using their main real social media profiles for bounties. Most of them have created fake accounts. Followers and friends on these accounts are just other bounty hunters, so they don't care about content that you're posting.

Fortunately, the inevitable will happen, as people running ICOs will realize they are not getting anything from fake followers and friends and simply stop paying for such things. A perfect example of how greed will kill the golden goose.

You missed my point. There was no intention to hurt/indicate you. I have told all the people who actually join this forum for bounty. It really looks awkward when you check someone's profile and find nothing but-
"Joined" "Proof of Authentication" "Week 1" bla, bla, bla.

congratulation for becoming a "Member" on the forum.

People are just making low quality posts to reach payment requirements. And they repeat this activity from their 10, 50 or even 100 alt accounts. And I don't think that they are spreading word about cryptocommunty. Many of them aren't even interested in crypto, they just came here to take money.

As for me, I think it's better to build a strong community here. The place for like-minded people, who can share there oppinions and find real support here.
It's a pity, when you ask a question( I'm not speaking about the English thread now) and the answer is the same" ask Google or YouTube"
The problem of communication is the most important thing.

P.S. Thanks for your tips. Well-organized people have always impressed me.

And one more thing, I don't know why everyone behaves like the bounty hunters are polluting all the useful and fantastic information of this forum. There is a subforum for bounties and everything happens there. What is wrong with that? I always think about the fact that although bounty hunters are advertising for a specific "possible scam" ICO, but they are also spreading the word about the crypto community as a whole. So if anything they are doing a favor to you if you have any investment in the crypto world.
It's not true that everything what is related to bounties happens in that board only. Yeah, social media reports are made there only. But how about signature bounties? Users of these campaigns polluting main boards of Bitcointalk with their shitposts. Have you checked Bitcoin discussion board for example - it's difficult to find real discussion there. People are just making low quality posts to reach payment requirements. And they repeat this activity from their 10, 50 or even 100 alt accounts. And I don't think that they are spreading word about cryptocommunty. Many of them aren't even interested in crypto, they just came here to take money. Bitcointalk become to workplace for bounty hunters. And honestly, I wouldn't blame them - they are using opportunity to make some easy money. The main problem is bounty managers who aren't doing their job properly. If they would do their job as they should we wouldn't have problems like spam, abuse, promotion of scam ICO's. And there wouldn't be hate against bounty hunters.

Is bounty the only reason why we join the forum? And is bounty the only task you do? I am really wondering. How a forum turned into such a money making place diverting from a discussion place. Also, most of the bounties you join are a scam. The output is you are helping scammers so that they can scam other people's money. In addition, the real interested people are getting some shits from the signature hunters.

There are so many people in the forum that are salty and only want to spread negativity. Did you even read my post? I am saying I am no longer participating in any social bounties. This is just my way of getting back to the community who helped me understand the crypto world.

Even the time that I was "ONLY" doing bounties, as you suggested, I always tried to put useful information on the forum and help other beginners. That is how I got ranked up to "member."

Anyhow, this post kinda got out of my hands. Please know that I in no way intend to offend you. And congratulation for becoming a "Member" on the forum.

I'm curious, how much you can earn from 100+ bounties? Can you tell if it's not a secret? Is your earnings worth time that you're spending?
Impressive! But do you still have any friends at Facebook or follower at Twitter if you post that much on a daylie basis? ;-)

Can you suggest any new bounties I could participate in?
I am interested in translation bounties( English/French/Russian) but also it would be great if the product behind that project had any real potential.

On the technical side, this process is not very complicated, although you're good, I must admit. Now it’s way harder to find these 100 campaigns because there is a very small number of bounties in which you really want to participate.

This is the first time I'm seeing a word used to bounty. Dont you think using excel tables would be much easier ?

Just name the columns and freeze them, below them just add necessary info.
My table looks like:

Project name with link to bountythread / bounty manager / ico start date / ico end date / reports (should be done or not, do each week new report or quote previous) / bounty task (do 5 retweet + 2 tweets, 5 like&share on fb and etc.) / week # and a copy/paste links to what was done.

hahaha very good question. I actually lost a lot of followers on Twitter because of this. Followers that I gained very hard a long time ago. But, I started following random people who also followed me back to replace them. So it has been a bumpy road.

This thread of yours give me ideas on how to improve on the organization of my bounties. I do a lot of social media bounties and I use different notepad on different project and it takes a lot of time and effort. However, this idea of yours can help me much more on organizing things. Especially the word template you gave, this will help me to maximize my time and add more bounties.

Hello to all in the crypto world and all the respectful bounty hunters,

Once upon a time I started to participate in social media bounty campaigns. However recently, I decided to retire from bounty hunting and start working on my PhD dissertation haha. That is why I decided to share with you how I managed to participate in more than 100 campaigns and report to more than 50 campaigns with only spending 1-1.5 hour a day.

Two things you must follow to be a good bounty hunter:

1 – Choosing the right bounty
It goes without saying that you need to be very vigilant about the way you choose your Bounty campaigns to participate. Each week there are more than at least 20-30 ICO bounties created on this forum. So, choose wisely because you cannot participate in all of them. There are tons of guides on this forum on how to distinguish a non-scam bounty from a scam one. Read those and follow those guidelines. Here are a couple of good examples:
1: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/del-3571218
2: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-to-bountyhunting-4481488

[ fun tip ] use this link to sort bounty campaigns by the date of creation, (rather than last post) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0;sort=first_post;desc

2 – Organization
It is obvious that you need a good organized system to be able to do this. Otherwise, you find yourself spending a couple of hours each time you want to report to a campaign. This is how I managed this.

A – Automated campaigns without any reporting
First of all, try to participate in campaigns that do not require reporting. These campaigns do not take a lot of your time and can sure be very rewarding. Participating in bounty campaigns is all about the risk/reward ratio. What you are risking? Time. Because you could be doing another bounty campaign.
Therefore, I highly suggest you to participate in the following bounty portals:
1. http://bountysuite.com
2. app.bountyportals.com
3. bountyhunters.io
4. bountyhive.io

All of the above bounty portals are highly reputable and have an amazing track record. It does not take a lot of time to participate in their campaigns and the rewards are often good.

B – Social media campaigns that require reporting
You cannot ignore the amazing campaigns on bitcointalk. And almost all of them require reporting in some sort. This is how I managed the many social media reporting campaigns:
I created a MSWord file that contains a list of all the campaigns that I participated. Every page belongs to one ICO and the pages look like this:

                                                               image loading...

Few things that you can notice on the above picture:
I have the link to every campaign hyperlinked (One click away). And also a link to their social media.
As you can see I have a table that shows me which day of the week I need to do something for this particular campaign. And what do I need to do on each day. For instance, if today is Saturday, I will skip this page, if it is Monday, I have to retweet once and tweet once. If you are participating in several ICO bounties, try to distribute your work between the days of the week. Try not to have a “heavy” day cause it can be disturbing.

As you can also see, all my tweets for every day of the week is also pre-populated. I usually do this on the weekends. You can think about it this way. For a single ICO you cannot have more than 5-10 original thoughts. Come up with all of them right when you participate in the campaign and try to update these every couple of weeks. No one expects you to have a completely original tweet everyday about an ICO. But please DO NOT PLAGARIZE. It may get you banned, and all your efforts are gone to oblivion.

If you like this template, you can download the original word file from my DropBox here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/uole2fiwgg9yihg/Bounty%20List%20Template.docx?dl=0
You can download this MSWord file and populate it for your case.

Now for reporting I have a separate file like this:

                                                               image loading...

You can download the original word file here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/0ne9lqaxpwogx9l/Bounty%20Report%20Template.docx?dl=0

So, I guess this is pretty self-explanatory. As soon as you finish a task, you copy paste the link to this file. This way, the “report” day is very easy and straightforward. Obviously, the report format, and other info are pre-populated right when I participate in the campaign.

Let me know if you have any question about my system and I will explain it more. but I guarantee if you follow this, you only need 1 to 1.5 hour everyday to participate in as many as 100 campaigns.
