that's not possible man, there is not any 100% effective method

He is asking if there is an optimal strategy.

The answer is that there is, but that it's very complex and depends on the specific rules of the variant you're playing.

Well asuming you use a new deck or card each time there must be an optimal one

Even then the optimal strategy would take into account what cards are in your hand rather than just their sum.

If you have a 14 made up of seven 2's you might want to play it differently than a K4, for example.

Yes as i said before thats what i wanted, i knew someone had to make something like that, i just didnt know where to find it

The basic strategy chart changes depending on rule variations.

http://wizardofodds.com/games/blackjack/strategy/calculator/ asks you what rules you're playing and shows you the basic strategy chart for that particular set of rules.

It's still not optimal, because for optimal play you need to take into account which cards have already been seen - but it's not far off. It's possible to have a positive expectation using just these basic strategy charts and only using the count to modulate your stake size.

I mean, blackjack is about luck but a little bit of skill too and i was wondering if someone made the definitve strategy for online blackjack like if you get 12 then you have to stop or get another card, etc

There are no rules, there are no definitives, there are no guarantees.  That's why it's called gambling.  If there was a way to always win, don't you think everyone would always win all the time?  Not how real life works.

Are you just posting stupid shit to fill your signature campaign? Someone already answered with what he wanted wich is a 100% EFFECTIVE way of playing not a 100% way of winning, i suggest you to read next time instead of posting unnecesary and really stupid things

My two rules to playing blackjack.

Never hit on anything higher then 12
Never split

Thats cool but i wanted something mathematicly proven

I recommend you to do not play black jack unless you'r looking to have fun with you'r friends. THose games agains't the house aren't profitable people must know that. The only way someone earns $ by gambling is the casino owner. Thats nothing new c'mon guys.

Even with a "GREAT" strategy the house still has an edge.  Even if you count cards at Casinos now the house STILL has an edge.  This is due to the fact that most decks are played with 4 (or worse, 6) decks.  Then they usually cut out a deck of cards that you never even play with.

I guess what I will say is blackjack is a game of streaks, so try and find a good streak and run on that and then get out.

Yes, there are mathematically best ways to play, it's all probability.  Here is an example of a hand chart that you can follow:

Keep in mind that with a continuous shuffle counting is impossible so there will still be a .5-1% house edge even if you are playing perfectly.

Nice thats what i wanted, thanks.

that still cant give 100% chance of winning in blackjack.. :p

That's literally what I said.  He didn't ask for a 100% guaranteed winning strat, he asked how to play 100% effectively.  If you're going to gamble, you might as well gamble in the way that loses you the least/lets you play for the longest.

Back in the day you would have been able to count cards so you would have had a very good idea of the range of cards that the dealer had left, but they caught onto that along time ago and now use multiple shoes to deal from.

You maybe able to find a online casino that has some tells and build a strategy but you would need to witness thousands of hands to gain any real knowledge of how its dealt.

You would not come and tell people how to do it  Wink

Good luck on your bj

Yeah well im interested in online blackjack so yeah no card counting but thanks anyways

Does card counting work on casinos like the live ones at Cloudbet ? Isn't it essentially like a casino ?

I am sure they would be the most care ful for this as they can easily be bust by card counter who will not be detected by them .

It depends on the casino house rules.

The basic strategy cards are a good tool to use while playing online. They give you the best move mathematically.

No way, it would be too easy they probably just use a new deck of card each time or a lot of decks or something to prevent it

Yeah I just went over to have a look, seems they cut it randomly and keep changing the entire shoe boxes of the cards in regular intervals, which will prevent someone from doing it anywa

Splitting 8's is a good idea, you will almost a lot of times hit 18 , or anything better during those times.

It is impossible to find a 100% effective method, because in that case there would be many rich people

a famous method is counting cards, but you have to be really good, and you need a group of people

Not a 100% effective method of winning but a 100% effective method that is perfect, the perfect strategy that wont give you a 100% chance of winning but it would be the best strategy. I dont know if you understand what i say

Thats cool but i wanted something mathematicly proven
I dont think you can find something 100% proven . All what you can find are some tricks which works till they break just that is all.

I mean why not? Lets say i have a card 2 and a 9 and the dealer has a 4 card, knowing that you can calculate the odds of each card left and pretty much have a perfect strategy, i was just wondering if someone calculated it already since its a really famous game
