Man this is crazy, I always read these forums but I never became a member because I always found my answer so adding something would not have added value. Now I need to add a question I have to go through this. I understand this is to stop the trolls but once again the few make it harder for the many. 
Was I the only one that saw the box that you had to check straight up tell us that we would need to wait?

You have to post some semi meaningful stuff in the newbie area, then spend about 4 hours reading the forums and hanging out in general.
