No problem at all, you can power the cards via molex and risers with the 6-pin to SATA adapter, this Corsair PSU is very good IMHO.

I`ve already managed to feed 5 1070GTX with one crappy PSU (Aerocool 1100W 80 Plus Gold) and everything went fine for months.

your psu can handle that, and i remember that the 1200watt has 8 slot for gpu, so you are fine you just need more cable, you can find the official cables for corsair on their webstore, just buy two more 2x8 pin

Hi,

Am planning a 6x 1070 Build since I found a good deal on the cards.

The problem I am faced with is that the cards I bought need a 6-pin and 8-pin plug. On top of that, I also bought 6-pin powered risers which come with a 6-pin to SATA adapter.

My issue is, my 1200W power supply, has 8x8/6pin PCIE connectors, 12 SATA and 8 Molex connectors, which means I have to power some of the cards via molex and the risers with the 6-pin to SATA adapter. Is this safe, given my PSU has a single 12V rail?

Thanks
