There is no serial number saved into the device. If you want to use a number for tracking it would have to be the controller MAC address.
MAC-address is rewritten in Antminer after each firmware update, so it's not a suitable way for tracking

You're assuming it's actually there somewhere. I don't believe it is.
it is a sticker on miner aluminum box and there is another small label on hashboard when you go web interface no serial at all
