If you followed these steps correctly, your fund should be there.  How to Restore a Multi-Coin Wallet.

I hope you've downloaded the correct Trust Wallet app because as I heard, there's a fake one and I'm afraid that you fall with this.  I hope you aren't.

If possible it was hacked and you remember your Bitcoin address, you may track the transaction using this, https://blockchair.com/.  Find the latest transaction.

Honestly need help ,
I lost my phone bought a new phone recently
Installed trust wallet again
Since I had an account already I pressed recover account
I put in my recovery phrase my account was back but my bitcoin and bitcoin cash was no where to be found . anyone with help on what to do ?

That's probably won't happen if you do it correctly and you are importing the right wallet that you mean because i did these things multiple times with my some wallets transfer between phones.
Bitcoin cash and bitcoin is not automatically visible on default, you need to turn on the toggle to make this coin visible on the trust wallet. Hope you just haven't turn on toggle to make the coins visible.

After recovering the account, unless syncing doesn't happen automatically which by the sound of the issue it didn't happen you will need to add the tokens manually. Once you do this the respective amounts should show in your wallet.

This is be true only if you have any amount left though...

Still you can then check the addresses on the respective explorers to see if they ever got transferred out without you knowing.

Which wallet did you used?
If you have restored the backup, you should have found your BTC, otherwise your BTC wallet is unreliable or you have not restored the backup
You could've read the OP to know what wallet OP was using and what he did to recover the coins that OP supposedly have in that wallet. Hopefully OP can return to this thread to update on what's happening right now.

Do you have any other coins in your wallet besides Bitcoin And Bitcoin cash are they affected too or?

As members suggested above did you wait for the wallet to fully sync? if yes and you still can't see the coins you should try contacting their support if you haven't already.

It's really very sad to hear about your situation. But truely there is no way to recover your funds from Trust Wallet if the wallet have been hacked by someone.

If there is no recent Transection hash for your address then it should be sync issue and there is nothing to worry.

Are you sure your new phone has an internet connection so it can sync properly?

Assuming you correctly entered your recovery phrase, it's most likely this. Knowing that it's a new phone and the app is freshly installed, give it time to sync. If your funds still hasn't reflected in your balance in like 30 minutes to an hour(depending on your internet speed), then you should probably panic lol.

Did you initially set up the wallet using Trust Wallet, or did you initially import it from somewhere else?
Did Trust Wallet give you any errors when you were importing your wallet?
Did you make sure to import it as a "Multi-Coin Wallet"?
Are you sure your new phone has an internet connection so it can sync properly?
